Menno is my boy! Love his strict approach and analysis of statistics and studies. He's done a couple of interview that are extremely enlightening. Highly recommended.Demolish wrote: yeah exactly, can always learn from the pro's , ive learnt a lot from John Meadows with regards to hypertrophy training , and also Menno Henselmans

Thanks MA. Value your opinion on this topic. I'll read up on those names that I'm not familiar with.Muscleaddict wrote: Some good info there on powerlifting. What really helped me get stronger in the last couple of years is watching world class powerlifters on youtube and following their training tips. Dan Green, the Lilliebridge bros, Brett Gibbs, Malanichev, Jesse Norris, George Leeman, etc Sometimes just tiny changes to your technique make a huge difference. Seeing what drives these guys and how focused they are also gives you a boost.

Yeah he is a really intelligent guy, i enjoy reading his stuff and his podcasts are also on point. Think he has a new one featuring Layne Norton. If im not mistaken its about reverse dieting or something.

3 plate squat
Way too easy, rest of my body is lagging behind. I'll rewrite my program to compensate.

I know my thread is really dysfunctional, but I didn't see a need to start a new one. Going to kick things up a notch by doing T3 and Clen/ECA. So obviously I'll need to bump up my TRT to offset the T3 muscle catabolism. My question is, how much gear should I take to ensure no muscle loss, due to T3?

Yeah I get your sentiment, no problem. I guess I have some incentives to make progress as fast as possible. Have been ill for some time and stationary as hell. I have a wedding coming up so I want to look decent (unlike the stereotyping powerlifter I look like now). And I'm keen to start swimming again as to train twice a day, so I'll start off with LISS. I used to do exclusively alternate intensities, IE sprints vs. slow laps, and just reckon doing long LISS sessions with fat burners will give me a good start.
