ZMA is usually zinc, magnesium, l-arginine and B vitamins. If your sweating a lot in your workouts stay hydrated, if your sweating out tons, make sure your electrolyte balance is OK. Take like half a energade with PWO whey maybe.

Gonna get some today, I hope places like Clicks or Dischem stock it?
@Furk, I always stay hydrated. I end up drinking between 500ml - 1L during my workouts.
I was taking a look at various cell salts which are apparently meant to help you recover and rehydrate you etc. although I do not think the cell salts themselves have electrolytes in them but some of the overseas brands have electrolytes in the mixture with the cell salts so I kinda stopped looking at that.
If possible I would like to find just electrolytes in powder form which I can mix with some water or with my Whey etc. Would possibly be easier and cheaper than purchasing an Energade all the time and also I won't end up with all the sugar, flavouring etc. etc.
Perhaps you know of a product I could try and get?
For some Abs are made with lighting & angles... For others they are made in the kitchen.

Hmm, those will also be filled with sugar and colourants etc?
I guess then perhaps easier to get an Energade.
I'd literally be happy with some electrolytes, unflavoured in powder form. Heck throw it into my whey protein shake and bottoms up!
I went to Clicks trying to find Pro-V-Guard and then remembered seeing it elsewhere and realizing I probably won't find it in the shops
Placed an order for it now

Same thing?Nate40 wrote: I love the taste of the powdered game, and used it for a while until I was told about the sugar.

Game = Energade = Powerade = Lucazade = Clifton = Gatorade
Differences are so minute. Ingredients are listed in order of composition descending. So look for glucose as the primary ingredient and you should be good.

Furk wrote: So how's your strength and size coming? Ready to enter your first power-lifting meet?
I will let you know sometime in November when I start eating around maintenance, I have been cutting and will continue to do so for another week or two.
The fat I had got to me so decided to lean down a bit.
So I have now lost a few KG's although strength is still pretty decent IMO. From December onwards I want to start focusing more on strength and do a lean bulk of sorts.
I am able to deadlift 105KG for 5 reps, that is part of 5 sets.
Squats I can do 95KG for 5 reps, however I was only able to do a single set (4th set) and then had to drop down to 90KG.
Flatbench I was upto 55KG, Incline I think I managed 50KG.
I am able to do chin ups and pull ups now, for a few reps. Proper full ROM - so from dangling to all the way up and then down to dangling again. I was really happy once I got off the assisted pull up machine and as soon as I did the amount of reps I was able to do increased quickly for 2-3 weeks.
Last time I weighed myself I was 51KG, I'd like to be a bit more lean. I can see and count all 6 of my abs but they are not as "in your face" as I'd like them to be. Not yet at least. Veins in my shoulders and arms and even chest are a bit more visible too.
I'd estimate my BF% at around 10% if I have to be modest, got a caliper test done at gym about 6 weeks ago and the lady said I was sitting at 9.3% BF which at the time certainly did not seem right.

How's your training regime for the cut though? Still the same?

Furk wrote: Dude I think you are progressing well. From a physical stand point and in terms of knowledge. Plus a good sign of strength is measuring it relative to bodyweight, gives a nice perspective. So diddys basically double bodyweight, and benching is bodyweight, and pull-ups obviously bodyweight. That's good mate.

Started training with a friend, we decided to change it up so am doing more isolation exercises.
ie. Monday is Legs, Tuesday Arms, Wednesday Back etc. That is not the actual plan just an example.
In terms of rep range and exercises, we always squat, bench and deadlift and generally start with those.
Squats we do 5x5, deadlift we do 5x5, bench we do 12, 10, 8, 6 reps.
We try and change up the exercises we do to avoid getting use to it and to prevent our workouts from getting stale. I am happy with the progress I have made so far!
My friend has made some great progress as well! His bench is a lot stronger than mine - he weighs 86KG now and benches 100KG. So a fair bit more than his bodyweight.
However his squats are weak compared to me - although leg press is fine. So he is trying to improve on his squats, he managed 100KG.
