Pre work out meal. was created by Rhino
Hey Gents
I train at 6 in the morning and I've always gone with Oats/whey as breakfast and then hit the gym. Lately I've been having a Protein/fat pre workout of whey and coconut oil and find that it actually works far better for me. I don't take anything else no sups or Pre drink.
I then obviously hit the carbs post.
Just wanted to fill you guys in that you don't always need carbs before you train I find coconut oil a better form of energy in the mornings.

Thanks Rhino. if it works for you then great. I prefer high carb meal with some fats in pre workout.

No thanks not for me. MTC oil has very little if any Lauric acid in and that's the best of the fatty acids were as Coconut has at least 50% and MTC oil is manufactured compared to coconut oil being natural.

Makes 100% sense to me...(good)fats provide more calories than carbohydrates and therefore better energy expenditure once the body has made this switch
Prof Tim Noakes......Atkins etc.etc...
