Some of us have 0 idea or creativity when it comes to cooking, I for one are one of them

EG: todays lunch is the same as yesterdays lunch and im sure tomorrow will be the same

Chicken breasts with salt and pepper and chicken spice
Boiled broccelli
sweet potato in the microwave

Boring as hell

Can we start up a new thread where we can share cooking ideas as such

Maybe take 2 mins to post what you having today and a quick how you made it, so the non cookers like me can give it a try!!

After all, sharing is caring.... lol

U gotta use food sources that appeal to u bud. I eat oats 3x a day during my prep and potatoes 2x a day.

I love those foods. Dont put rice infront of me unless its a thai curry.

As for chicken. I make mine into skewers. Cut the chicken into cubes, alternate with onions and chicken and pepers and chicken for example and spice them up and grill them in the oven. Use different herbs and spices each batch so u not bored of the same flavours

I must admit, my diet is bland.

I grill my chicken with no spices. Rice with no salt and veggies boiled also no salt and I eat that twice a day. Tastes horrible but I do what I thought was the best now I'm thinking that I've been way to hard on myself :pinch: :silly:

You don't get it by wishing, staring, or hoping. You don't get it easy. You get it by working your ass off every single day.

im pretty much the same as pixie, although I spice my chicken but even after awhile that gets boring.

rather bland, but I get it down. chew, water, chew, swallow... repeat. and scuffle it down, before I know it my meals over and done.

if you guys want some serious motivation, and if you think your diet is tough, read through the JOURNEY - animalpak.com/JOURNEY/

its absolutely amazing, iv read it countless times. gives you that edge to push through.

Hahahahaha i have eaten the same meal 6x a day for almost 2 months. Chicken is no longer my friend and Broccoli is no longer my fav veg BUT its all for a reason. In saying that no one said that you cant add a sauce or some spices to flavor your food. A lot of people dont realize this.
All my food is steamed except for my basmati rice and my eggs.
The weird part of it all is that the other day i thought....oh well let me scoff a couple samoosas.....GOODNESS GRIEF, my body HATED it, heartburn kicked in as well as indigestion.

Stick it out AlexRon because at the end of the day you need to keep your eye on your prize and remember why you doing it.

One of my meals is: 2 whole eggs,6egg whites and half a cup of oats! Any ideas on how to cook them together like in a pancake or something? I've been just having a bowl of oats chased by an omelet or scrambled eggs.
There has to be a more exciting way of getting that down.

Decided today im having sauce with my chicken and broc and potatos

Knorr cheese and mushroom with extra pepper, looking at the label, I don't see anything bad here:
0.3g of fat
0.7g of sugar

dude best thing I did, made an oat pancake, like all my mates eat it daily now, its really good..

I mixed 6 eggs with 100g oats, into a bowl and mixed it up, then fried it on a pan like an omelette.

the more eggs you use, the more like a pancake it became (thin/flaT) and the more oats became like a waffle (very fat and thick, but still soft) so like I said 6 eggs with 100g oats was the best ratio for me.

i then put cinnamon, peanut butter and some honey over it. its amazing, kinda feels like an unhealthy meal cause it actually was very nice haha.

give it a try?

Im defo gonna give that a try. How would it work if i train in the mornings?
Which is better....empty stomach with only BCAA and Creatine and glutamine or oats and eggs or both before training?

There is 0 chance of that to be honest, go home and look at the packet again and see. The last time I checked those 57g packets have about 25g of sugar per packet and about 15g of fat depending on flavour

Ditch that crap and just get some light tomato sauce or dijon mustard for your food.
