Yesterday morning reading using a Polar FT7
2.4 km - google maps calculation
FT7 stats
29min
396cal
av bpm - 118
max bpm - 160
fat burn 29min
fitness 11min
After my morning run, I went to gym and got the following stats
Stats:
total time - 58min
cal 625
avg bpm 121
max bpm 157
fat burn 50min
fitness 7min
So I jog to hit a heart rate of 160 then walk till it comes down to 115 then job again and so on
Is the cal lost during this time ok both cardio and training??
Anyone else monitor theirs?

To you it may look like I just did a push-up... But in fact, I just bench-pressed the world.

Mostly still at beginner level but moving on to the beginning to not suck level... lol... Played probably 5 years ago... for a month... then not much and now since November I have been playing once a week, I played through most of December. So I am starting to play a lot better and beat people who used to thrash me.

Awesome bro you will love the game more every step you get better! The reason why I asked is because when I started I also used to have these hour and half sessions and I thought I was some kind of fitness God being able to play so long. Then when I was at my prime I could play for 30mins max then I was DEAD!! So what I am saying is I am quite sure you didn't burn all that many millions of calories that the internet is talking about.

Yeah...I do notice as my skill improves my fitness is forced to improve also... I've lost 6kg recently (thank you wisdom teeth op) and I am getting to more shots now.
Regarding the cals I burnt, I use a polar heart rate monitor to record my cals burnt...so it should be reasonably close?

Donner... I ran 2km today (well... jog to some of you guys)... arrived at the gym and my buddy was waiting in the parking lot... "Don't take your bag out... get your iPod."
Eish... 15mins later we were back at the car. It's a different fitness to squash and weight training.
