How do you guys keep motivated for the diets.Especialy over weekends.

I'm one of those guys that drop during the week, but when its weekend i loose control and just stuff my face.I actualy pick up more than i loose in the weekend. Now dont get me wrong i know what i'm doing is wrong over the weekends ,but it feels like i dont have that motivasion i once had.I can put it on stress becuase i'm self imployed but im b  llshitting myself.I did it twice and can do it again. Now dont get me wrong.I'm not fat.I still weight the same but lost the 'RIP LOOK'.

How many time a week do you cheat? Is it one meal or is it a full day.And how do you keep motivated to stay on the road?

Would like to know how u guys do it.Maybe someone got a cheat way that will suite me.Other wise i JUST HAVE TO SUCK IT UP!!Maybe dj can jump in here.

I dont cheat. Period. Once you start with little cheat here, it is easier to cheat now now etc, and before you know it, you have stuffed your face.

For me, I just have to go to my willpower place and look past all the lekker stuff and keep with my diet. And when I cant hold out any longer, make myself a cup of coffee!

It's easier to cut out than to cut down, as SV said. Don't cheat. Plan your diet so it can fulfil some "taste desires", but don't encourage the carb cravings and sweet tooth. Rather, factor in things than can come close/ give you pleasure whilst sticking to calories and macro percentages. Make protein desserts, factor in a fruit in the morning, drink coffee ect.

But most of all - be strong!

Take bland-tasting protein foods and flavour it. Cottage cheese, egg whites, tofu, ect all taste like very little alone.

Just do some research on what you are allowed to eat and combine it in a way that tastes good and fits in.

Someone posted these recipes on another forum.

They might be a good substitute if your cravings are too strong

You might wanna look into supplementing with chromium as well as this might help with your cravings

Another way is to contact DJ and pay for a proper diet, I'm In the process of doing it now as I've been injured and my diet has gone to shit ive lost weight but gained fat and the only way I see myself getting back on track is by paying some hard earned money and getting it done for me.

Go big or go home...

Here's what I do:
40g unflavoured casein protein.
1/2 - 1 teaspoon Pro10 flavouring (I like vanilla or chocolate)
100ml fat free milk + 150ml water (or just water)
5g glutamine.

Mix well with handblender, pop in fridge for around a hour - eat before bed.

Off Season I have a cheat day, Pre-contest one meal a week, it is needed to stay motivated and replenish glycogen stores as well as leptin levels. It also helps release serotonin.(Feel good hormone).

have some one to report to on a weekly basis, with measurements, like a coach or a trainer, some one thats gonna tell u to stop being a wimp and not cheat on your diet! i just did a 12 week program which i shared in the gw50156 before and after thread and i had 3 cheat meals in 10 weeks, then 2 in the last 2 weeks. there are loads of decent transformation challenges or online coaches out there who will tell u what u need to hear not what you want to hear
