Check at my local Spar there are a Red berry flavour Jungle oats which have exactly the same nutritional value as the normal oats and the price was R22.95 for a 750G and normal Oats is R22.95 for 1KG. Sure you will get it for cheaper at PnP or Checkers. I also saw in the instant Oats range there is a Peach flavour.
Have not tried it yet cause I mix with yogurt.
Maybe someone else????

My friend, it is most raw and unrefined version of oats. Yet to be sampled by my pallet.

Grits is like mieliepap. Oat groats include all the bran and cereal germ of the actual oat. Yum!

I basically accept the fact that I eat "it" because I have to, not because I want to.

I hear you. But your meals don't have to be tasteless. Bit of imagination can make even a simple dish taste fantastic!

Yes totally bud! Don't get me wrong, I try and get creative all the time, but even that in its own right can get tiring, constantly trying to think of new ways to spice things up!
So often, just to get the eating out of the way, I scuff down the dry chicken and rice or whatever, and get on with life....

But please dont cook the whey and biltong with the oats. Only add it once your oats is not steaming hot anymore.
