I started keto yesterday at a ratio of 80, 20, 0 for fat, protein and carbs. Then switch to 65, 30, 5 for f, p, c.
I got this killer headache that made it feel as if my eyes were going to out and head split open. Is this normal? if it is then how long does it last and what can I do to ease it? Read you need boat loads of water, especially when starting. Any input welcome.
thanks

Part of the process apparently, as the body depletes glycogen and starts the metabolic switch over to using ketones. First time users of keto often getn headaches and sluggish performance both physical and mental for the first 3 days while the body gets used to things.

Luckily that was only 3 days for me. I was like "must-eat-sweets" . Today? nothing. I don't even crave bread and the keto sticks I have tested positive
