Springbok biltong is good if you have a biltong craving. Between 50/60% protein and less than 1% fat. Even leaner than ostrich biltong. Biltong might have a bit much sodium but hey a few stukkies won't hurt.

Although of late it's mainly water.
I've also heard the sugar replacement Aspartame isn't too good for you, being connected to cancer and all other funny's????
PS: I make my own Biltong, trimming the fat, limiting the salt and so forth.
Works out much much cheaper, and it's made to MY taste.

Nothing wrong with biltong, I'm also on DJ diet but its not part of my eating plan. I'm counting calories, eat nothing more nothing less gram for gram. I guess I could be eating some. Now and then but then again I don't think ill be making the lean gains I am now. Just following what the man is saying so I rather stay away. Eating a 100g of biltong sure is a few calories extra per day.

Pyroclasm wrote: I am also on a cutting diet. We see biltong as just another source of protein. So it's not a snack but part of my meals. Maybe a bit of extra salt but like Muscleaddict says that's pretty much nitpicking. Also who has time for snacks when you have to eat every two and a half hours?
I'm on bulking but very clean. True bud when eating that often there's not much time for cravings. But does happen when I see something I want haha

Don't you guys think Tab is better than Coke Zero during dieting because of the caffeine?
