Your take on Cous-Cous was created by MK
Hi guys
Just wanting to know your guys take on Cous Cous as a carbohydrate. I would prefer it to many other, if not all other carbs because of the price, the easy cooking process and taste, but also because of the fact that per 100grams of the stuff, there's 12.1g of Protein and 69grams of Carbs (of which 1.9grams are total sugars). The energy value per 100grams is 1470kJ so I'm assuming that there's also quite a few calories in it.
Would really like to add it into some of my meals especially when (lean) bulking, but not 100% sure if it's classified as High GI carbs. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
