Insulin sensitivity? was created by Kkkyle
How does one gauge what their insulin sensitivity is?
I take it being more sensitive is better?
How does one improve their sensitivity if they are more resistant?
Any input is appreciated guys

guys who are insulin resistant or suffer from insulin insensitivity often pic up fat quickly, mostly around the belly and love handles, when excess carbs and calories are consumed which makes bulking quite difficult as you need to balance your carbs and fats quite a bit and learn your body quite well.
things to use to increase insulin sensitivity : chromium pilconate, alpha lipolic acid, vanadayl sulphate, cinnamon, antagolin and if you are type 2 diabetic then you get scheduled medicine for this such as glucophage, actos and avandia.

@DJ from what you have said here would it not make sense that having waxey maize post workout with your whey is better than dextrose or maltodextrin as it does not cause a insulin spike but still replenishes glycogen stores?

I think you need that spike to get all the nutrition to your muscle after gym.

When would you take this? With your post workout shake?
Give it a shot, you're only TESTing it...
