Bloods and TRT

My last cycle ended around 12 months ago. I am now 43 and have been feeling like crap for the last 8 months or so, irritable, no drive, not interested in training or work, struggling to stay lean, etc etc. Because my libido was only slightly down I didn't think my testosterone levels would be an issue. Eventually I dragged myself to Ampath (it pays to have pathologists as mates)and got my tests done.
Total Test - 10 - Reference range 6-27nmol
SHBG - 38 - Reference range 13-89nmol
Free Test - 180 - Reference range 170-660pmol !!
Oestradiol - 81 - Reference range 95 -223
I also had FSH, LH, PSA and liver function which all look "beautiful".
Next day and I'm now on 100mg, test cyp, weekly. I'll test levels again in 3 months then if I'm not up to the 660 level, I'll up the dose.
If you're feeling crap and seeing low test symptoms get your bloods done. I was surprised and a bit shocked at my reading. Having said that, I'm legal and on pharmaceutical grade test now

LOL!  I had to laugh at this... ^^^^^^ Bru!! PGW Test Cyp is just as good, if not better then "pharmaceutical" grade test. and a lot more affordable!
Good luck with your TRT bru, hope all goes well.

PGW is not better than pharma grade, but they are 1-1 with them.

I'm feeling the difference in libido and mood already. I have been pinning 50mg twice a week but will probably change to 100mg every 5 days. Alternatively I'll move onto subcutaneous shots. Two IM jabs a week for the rest of my life is going to get old pretty quickly.

What needle gauge do you plan on using for your SubQ test shots? I cannot see how SubQ test shots are any better or easier than IM unless I am missing something?
When I pin test cyp or test prop, even when using a 23g needle it still requires a bit of force when injecting and takes time. I cannot imagine how much of a mission it would be with a 29g or 31g needle.
That being said, trying to pin SubQ with a 24g or even 25g, it sounds like a mission to me!
Also no ways would I put a needle that big in my stomach fat. I personally do all my SubQ pins in my ass as I prefer it that way. So a 23g needle pushed only slightly into your ass for SubQ vs all the way in, really does not seem to make much of a difference IMO as it really only hurts when breaking the skin to get to the SubQ layer and is hardly a mission to push it in further to get to the muscle.

What I have researched is that 0.5ml max per shot with a 29g needle backfilled syringe. I think the reason its appealing is that you won't develop all the scar tissue, remember I'm looking at 2 shots per week for potentially the next 20 odd years, that's a lot of holes. It will obviously take a bit longer but is apparently much more comfortable and less damaging. Sites are stomach and thighs from what I have read.
I'd be interested in others experience on it, I'm sticking with IM until I know a bit more but as I said it's going to get old pretty quickly. Cheers
