Joe’s First Ever Cycle was created by manoeJ
Hi Guys

So I’ve been doing some solid research over the past few months before thinking of using a cycle and think I’m ready to give it a go but would first like advice from the pros.

I’ve read some of the sample cycles and would like to go with the bulking cycle (for obvious reasons as you’ll soon come to know ). Basically consisting of an
#11 week cycle with 250mg of testacyp every 5 days.
# 40mg dianabol for the first 25 days ,

PCT:
week 15: 2 x 50mg clomid daily
week 16-20: 20mg nolva daily
and day 113-131: HCG 500iu every alternate day

However I was thinking of excluding the dianabol on my first cycle so as to see the effect of purely one anabolic’s affects on my body(basically how my body copes with it) as well as due to the toxicity of dianabol’s nature.I know test usually takes a while to kick in hence the addition of dianabol. I’m also not too sure on what size needle i should use, If anyone has any advice on that, I’d really appreciate it.

My stats:

height: 175cm
weight:55kg
body fat % = 7%
age : 22
training for the past 3 years (albeit with a month off here and there)

Would anyone here have used this cycle or a similar one as a beginner cycle before? Any feedback would be great
,also what signs should I look out for within the cycle that would be a cause for concern.

The final thing, I’ve heard test shots are a pain in the butt, literally, read something about grapeseed oil or something of the sort easing the aftermath of the shot. Any truth in it and how should i go about using it if it does indeed help.
Thanks in advance guys.

Howzit Manoe

You will use a 20 gauge needle to draw the oil from the vial and a 23 gauge 1 and a half inch to inject with for glutes. if you lean a can use a 1 inch or 1 and quater to inject other sites like the quad.

Instead of d bol you could use t bol its a bit milder at 40 mg a day for six weeks have a look at iron k thread I'm sure you will find it helpfull he's on the same cycl now.

If you do the shots properly there should be now pain at all with test cyp.

Enjoy your cycle

I generally get really annoyed with comments like the one I am about to make and I apologize in advance for it.
But what are you doing even THINKING about taking steroids when you are 55kgs at 175cm...? To be honest, you need to spend your money on a good diet and need to stay away from the juice for a long time. You've done your research about AAS and that's great to know but taking them when you clearly don't have a decent diet and/or training schedule in place is just looking for a short cut and you will not keep a lot after your PCT if your diet and training are not on point.

Wow, you are around my weight however about an extra 10cm taller than me. To be fair you less body fat though (mine is around 11 / 12 %) and I am not all that muscular IMO... Nowhere near where I would like to be.

I think most people on this forum will advise you against cycling at this point in time and would recommend you put on a bit more muscle first.
How is your strength in terms of bodyweight ratio for the big 3 compounds - Bench Press, Squat & Deadlift - ie. You weigh 55KG and are able to deadlift twice your bodyweight (110KG).

From what I have noticed people generally prefer to pin Test Cyp twice a week or every 4 days.
I have yet to do a cycle and I myself am still building up my foundation a bit before I do a cycle.
If you are dead set on cycling then nobody can really stop you, I am very curious as to how it will work out for you! :D

Keep us posted.

For some Abs are made with lighting & angles... For others they are made in the kitchen.

Thanks a lot lobo, wasn't quite sure on what gauge needle to use at all. Was torn between 21 22 23 and even a 24. Heard the oily nature would make a 24 too hard to use though. I plan to use the glute area but my only concern is that I play for a football club and the use of my legs are of utmost importance so a bit concerned if I get a bit of post injection pain

Hormonas: I totally get where you're coming from, I thought i did but it seems i forgot to mention that my current weight situation is due to an op late last year in which I lost a hell of a lot weight so the main purpose is to help get back to my previous weight of around 65 faster than it would take normally. Do you think a cycle will help in this regard ?

Welcome Joe.
I would normally say you a bit young to be hitting the juice, but wishing you all the best my bro.

I Agree and especially if you have been training for 3 years.

Initially there could be a bit off pain the day after if the muscle isnt used to it. I wouldnt go smaller than 23 gauge im using a 22 in the glute at moment. Its a good point hormonas made starting before 25 is not recommended from what I have heard. If you were the next dallas macarver or cody Montgomery it would be a different story.

Agree with comments above, but I recently switched to 24G and pins have been great. Hardly ever bleeds.

cheers for all the advice guys. Still leaning quite heavily on the cycle side and if I do start I’ll be sure to post my results and progress here , for now deciding to dig in with some more research on what to expect as well as some optimum training workouts ,etc

I'd recommend sticking around a bit longer and doing some thorough research before jabbing yourself with a needle.

While you are busy with said research, start using something to track your calories - I quite enjoy My Fitness Pal - then check to see what your maintenance calories are and see how far off you are from there and perhaps start to increase it above your maintenance level to try pick up some more muscle / weight.

As for a training program, perhaps even consider something like Stronglifts 5x5 or ICF while doing your research. Furk put together a nice training regime for me and it has certainly helped - perhaps give it a go:
www.anabolicsteroids.co.za/forum/10-diet...iet-workout?start=25

My strength has gone up a lot and is still increasing, I weight 53KG and managed to get a new PR in deadlifts this past weekend.
Managed 105KG for 5 reps. That was on my 5th set too ;)

Cheers Psy, that’s some really good information, completely forgot about mentioning my bodyweight ratios,
On the bench I’m currently matching kg for kg, tapping on 6 reps on my last set.
Currently squatting 80kg, I’d say fairly comfortably.
and deadlifting 75-80kg as well, I haven’t been pushing too hard on legs and deadlifts mainly due to having had an op close to my lower back last year and so just playing it safe for a while.

I’ve read up on strong lifts (thanks psy !) and think Im gonna give this a go! Currently I’ve been training, chest and bi’s, shoulders and tri’s, back on itself and legs with another muscle I feel I haven’t worked well enough. so basically 4 times a week. Any Advice on that?

Also the current strong lift 5x5 routine I’ve seen (and intend to follow ) consists of:

Week 1
Monday Wednesday Friday
Squat Squat Squat
Bench Press Overhead Press Bench Press
Barbell Row Deadlift 1x5 Barbell Row
Week 2
Monday Wednesday Friday
Squat Squat Squat
Overhead Press Bench Press Overhead Press
Deadlift 1x5 Barbell Row 5x5 Deadlift 1x5

Do you guys have any critique of the above ?
I do have a few concerns in that 1) I play football and thus get a few knocks to my legs which sometimes leave me unable to squat , is there another exercise i can substitute squats with in case I can’t squat?
2) Can i train without a rest day? example mon tues thurs or even add in another day for a 4 day workout ?

Thanks again to everyone who’s helped me so far, really appreciate it a LOT !

Can I train two days in a row?

No. Your body and mind need days off to recover. You might be able to get away with training two days in a row the first weeks when the weights are still light. But as the weight on the bar increases, you’ll need those days off inbetween two workouts to recover, get stronger and gain muscle. And you’ll be happy you have days off the recover. If you feel like doing more because the workout feels too light, up the intensity by increasing the weight. Add 5kg/10lb each workout or more, then go back to the 2.5kg/5lb increments once the workout is challenging.

I cringe a bit at 5x5, but that's just me. Regarding replacing squats, I don't have a spotter, so I train 4 sets to just before positive failure, then I hit leg press to failure - because it's safe. But one of the principles of Strong Lift 5x5 is totally avoid failure.

Thanks furk. I have one more question on 5x5 in that should I start of light or start of near my max weight . Example when squatting,if I've maxed out before in 80 should I start light at say 50 and stack on 2.5kg till 5 sets are up in which case I'll be at 70kg by the end of day 1 and then continue from there the next time or should I start off at say 65/70 and work till I reach the max I can push.

Also it seems that I can't find any tbol so in a dbol versus tbol is it worth switching to dbol for the first cycle or should I just go with test cyp alone?

Your 5x5 sets are your heavy working sets and do not include your warmups. You want to stick to 80 to 100% of your 5 rep max or you are not getting very effective workout. You should be fighting for that last rep in your last set!

Although I very much enjoy 5x5 training I wouldn't recommend it when building muscle only for strength training. It isn't nearly as effective as FST-7 or MI40 for creating maximum stress in the muscle which is what you need for growth.
