timing of HCG, intermediate bulk cycle?

A question about HCG. I see that in the intermediate bulk cycle in the sample section, HCG is run for about 12 weeks mid-cycle, then stopped 10 weeks before PCT. I'm wondering if this is still the practice among the seniors on the site? Would it do any harm to run HCG right up until PCT, as is often recommended to guys on basic cycles? I've heard talk of down-regulation of receptors from running HCG for too long? all and any advice appreciated

It is very important. What do you mean it's stopped 10 weeks before PCT, loom at 2 weeks after hCG to start PCT, that of course means it's PCT is started once your androgen levels are low enough

Pump, if I'm reading it correctly, www.anabolicsteroids.co.za/articles/sample-cycles/33-cycle-7 . HCG is run from day 17, to 85, then stopped. It's not run all the way up until PCT on this cycle. On this cycle, Ovidrel, with the same function as HCG, starts at day 152. This seems to conflict with the current advice to guys on basic cycles, which is to run HCG throughout their cycle, then stop the HCG just before PCT?

Hmm I see it's just before the test ends, it isn't my cycle so I can't really comment why, I would probably add hCG for another 3 weeks

Change the cycle slightly and pin the deca and test twice a week. I would also add the HCG up to a week before PCT

Oupa, I'm in no hurry.. if nothing else, age has taught me this is a marathon, not a sprint. Having to cross borders occasionally complicates it a bit too
