Is it really necessary to kick start say a twelve week test cycle? Will the gains after pct be a kg or two more because you kickstarted?

My answer would be no! The only reason i see guys kick a cycle is to get the strength increases sooner. Technically you only add aditional stress to your body. If you have patience you can ride the ester until it fully kicks. If you do not compete i really don't see the value of adding aditional stress on the body which might mean many more happy cycles in the future. For my next cycle i will not bother with a kicker. Who knows maybe it is even better to ease your body into the cycle and end it with a bang.
