Start: 2005 – Weight 56kg – Height 180cm
Was very much skin and bones back in school and early varsity days. Was definitely not cool, I was embarrassed to take my shirt off and go to the beach etc, always had the feeling of being pushed around by the bigger guys.

Current: Weight 71kg – Age 27
Much happier with my body now, still a long way to go! I have kept a t-shirt from back before I started bodybuilding, my goal is to fill that shirt!

Cycle Goal: Post PCT Weight 78kg
Have focussed the most on getting my diet sorted with the correct amount of nutrients, this has always been my biggest challenge. My strength has increased nicely and I am confident that I can now lift weights that are big enough to grow huge :) Now is the time for my first cycle, going for the beginner bulking cycle with proviron added and no frontload and then PCT no. 1.

Week 1 – 10 : Test Cyp – 500mg/week
Week 8 – 12 : Proviron – 40mg/day
Week 14 – 19 : PCT Protocol No. 1 (Clomid and Nolvadex)

I will be training 5 times a week with the odd light cardio session thrown in on occasion. I’m going to be taking progress pics and logging all sorts of stats (blame it on an unhealthy obsession with excel!) Hopefully this tread will be a useful source for those of you considering your first cycle, I have been religiously reading the forum for 2 years getting ready for this cycle and hope now to be able to contribute rather than just leech information.

Post up your diet, lets take a look at that. If this is not right you will not grow no matter what you inject. Is there a reason for no front load? Addition of proviron to any cycle is a benefit and if you could afford it run throughout the cycle. Test Cyp has a half life of 12 days x 3 = 36 days to start of PCT which will be slightly longer than 4 weeks. Would also take HCG, to get the boys up and running again.

That is what makes a bodybuilder a true bodybuilder, and that is to be simply.....

PURELY DIFFERENT FROM THE REST

You still have lot's more time to grow bud. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I seriously don't think at 1.8m tall that you're near your full natural potential, nor 75% of the way even. I have a feeling that your diet is the element that's stopping you from growing, and what you need is the right food and enough of it in order to grow, not anabolics.

I know exactly how you feel though bud, don't get me wrong, it's crap being like that. But I will put every cent I own that a change in diet is what you need to grow. It will not make you grow as fast as anabolics would help, but I definitely feel that you can easily pick up 10kgs within 5months with the right diet.

I even went from 78kg to 92kg in 7months from pure dieting, without any steroids and the only supplement I used was a massgainer (which I now look back on as a waste of money) and whey. It really is achievable if you set your mind to it and be dedicated enough. It also depends on how badly you want it, because it's easy to say "screw it" and go out on the piss with mates, or to eat badly over the weekend. But if you remain focussed with your eyes on the final result, you will be more than happy, I can guarentee it.

Contact DJ ('Contact-Us'>email Admin for DJ's email address) and get hooked up with a diet that has helped so many guys achieve their goals. Also read 'Dieting 101' and 'Dieting 102' in the dieting section - both written by DJ.

Good luck bro

Thanks for the comments. I'll post my diet breakdown this evening, worked it out using info from the forum, basically 3200 calories to start with 250g protein, spread into 7 meals.

On the matter of reaching ones natural potential before going on a cycle, my question is why wait? All things being equal AAS will get you to a goal weight quicker the sooner you start cycling.

Are there negatives to starting early, would one limit their maximum achievable growth or something? I understand that age plays a factor (ie waiting till over ~24), is there anything else?

Thanks.
