Triathlete steroid cycles are very different to bodybuilding cycles so cycle advise from bodybuilders might not be ideal. If that body fat is accurate then he shouldn't need to gain any mass. The iron man guys who are winning international triathlons are often under 70Kg around that height.

How much does he want to gain? I'd reckon strength training can be tricky for triathletes as building too much fast twitch muscle mass could be detrimental. Extra strength will not help with endurance. Is he competing in races where he could be tested?

Judging from the very doses of AAS that runners and pro cyclists use I wouldn't suggest more than max 200mg test per week. Something like 50mg test prop EOD with an anabolic like oral turinabol at 20mg/day or 0.2ml NPP EOD (±100mg week). Endurance athletes use steroids mainly for recovery. Fast recovery during training means more training is done and better endurance on race day. 100-150mg test with 100mg NPP would make a huge difference without putting on unwanted extra mass, and even at that dose of NPP the effect on tendon and ligament recovery would be hugely beneficial.

I'm not really qualified or experienced to give advice on this but I know a bit about endurance sport and training and have been involved when I was younger. My dad was on the board of Athletics South Africa and I grew up hearing about athletics until I wanted to vomit.

Hi Muscleaddict

you are completely correct. he is not wanting to put on to much size at all he just wants to feel stronger and last longer with his endurance! he dose not compete in races that are tested yet.

I know very little when it comes to endurance enhancing substances this is why i came to the forum
so the below sample cycle will be best for him at this time?

and this will help with his strength and endurance training recovery and on the day races

thanks again

I look for strength and not really size in cycles. My advice would be to use a lower dose of test as muscle addict said, 250 to max 375mg/week, Test would be supplementary to his cycle.
Then look at a primary substance like Turinabol or Equipoise.

I'm a big fan of Eq, it really worked for me but it has to be run minimum 12 weeks, even better 14+ weeks which may be a bit heavy for a first cycle. It does deliver lean gains and great strength though.

My comments are not advice, medical or otherwise. I am not a medical practitioner. Always consult your Doctor before making decisions.
