Pinning

I use 22G 1 1/4inch needles, for my first 4 pins i've stuck it in all the way but have noticed more pain towards the end. Is it fine to stop before the needle is fully in?

Ja its fine... To close to the surface you going to know about it, however you shouldn't be getting pain with that depth.

Of your skin, if you don't inject deep it causes a nasty lump, and really prefer using the 21g and pushing the whole needle in..

21G is soooo last year.... try 18G no issues there!!! hahaha

Is'nt the length of 21G needles even longer? or does gauge only refer to the thickness of the needle

Weirdest thing happened to me yesterday, I was pinning the delts and aspirated so there was blood, pulled out and injected about a cm away. Aspirated all was fine, then when I started injecting something started spraying out of the other hole, it was the juice

Its usually in that last little bit when i'm pushing the needle in (quads) but yesterday when I started injecting the medicine my muscle jumped

That's fine, spike explained that in another post the twitch, if you going into the quad, don't use a 22g use a 23g.

I get this if I've had one or two bad pins, moving the needle around too much. Then the next time I go in there is some bruising in the muscle and some hard scar tissue and its hard to get the needle in all the way.
