I thought I'd throw this one in an' see what comes up ...
I'm a 51 year old pale male, 5'11", weighing in at 94 with some 18% body fat.
Over the past year I had started to develop "moobs" and to put on additional fat in my mid section, this along with a few more aches than normal and a temprement aproaching that of a premenstrual woman! So I approached my doctor for help ... to cut a long story short that involved various "mood enhancers" and pain killers ...
I eventually had bloodwork done, and was put onto TRT and a statin.
The so called key indicators being;
Progesterone 1.5
Oestradiol 97
Testosterone 15.1
SHBG 64.90
Calculated (0.2)???
Cholesterol 7.4!
I've been put on to depo testerone (100mg/ml) 1ml per week, (which I've altered to half a ml per 4 days), and;
Neophedan 10mg ... 1 tab / day, and;
Crestor 5mg ... 1 tab / day
I was also advised to take Arthroguard three times a day and Essentiale twice a day, along with my usual Pharmaton Active and a bi monthly Neurobian shot.
I have yet to go for follow up bloodwork, (was told it would take 6 to 8 weeks to stabilise), to which I have a week to go ... I acknowledge that I'm feeling a lot more energised, and most of my aches an' pains / shirty temprement have departed, however ... I'd appreciate some experienced input on the above if possible, as the input from my doc. to date comes across a bit like a thumbsuck.
