Injection pimple!

Hi all,

I just did a winny injection into my left delt but I have massive pimple on that spot - can actually see it standing out!. I managed to press it down abit, so now it doesn't look as big but it's spread over a bigger area.

The needle was inserted at an angle so perhaps I didn't inject into the muscle. Could this be the cause if it? Is the pimple any cause for concern? What do I do about it?

If you didn't inject into the muscle there would be a huge lump, so I doubt it. Stop fiddeling with it, just leave it alone, it will probably go away. In which part of the delt did you pin?

Right next to that injection I got in school, a couple decades ago (side delt).

So the pimple is normal? Never noticed it before

The top right part? I wouldn't say its normal but its probably just a little irritation. Did you use a new needle that hasn't been opened and a new syringe? If it gets worse without you touching it I would be concerned. I injected into a vain once because I didn't aspirate. Now that was kak lol

Yes. I always use a new syringe/needle. Do I do another pinning to make up for this one?

Daai ou praat sy kop se kak. Ekt 3ml in 'n aar gespyt, het begin hoes, lighooftig en baie kak gevoel vi so 30min waar ek gesukkel het om asem te kry en toe is ek reg. Dis ni 'n angename ervaring nie. Het jy geweeet jy oor di 3cc lig direk in 'n aar nodig om jou dood te maak? Mense gan an of 1 bubbel dit sal doen.

@beamer, really no need. Like I said it is probably just minor irritation and the hormone should be in your bloodstream. Don't worry bud.

Probably not directly but into the capiliary.
I also experienced this and you can taste the oil. I thought i was dying.
The second time it happened i used an asthma pump and it really helped alot.

5ml air i was told - and make sure you stay awake in he hospital when you are on a drip! They almost accidentaly blew 20ml into me through the drip recently.

@beamer - keep an eye on that injection spot. If it becomes inflamed and you get a fever you probably have an infection and need to get to the Dr pronto.

The idiots almost caused your death.

May be jack, but like I said it was really unpleasant. I've nicked vains too while injecting. The blood scares the shit out of you when you are new to it tho.

Think of it as an occupational hazard. Its bound to happen. You will hit nerves and nick vains at some stage. Scares you at first then you get used to it. On like my 5th pin I hit a nerve on my quat haha, whole leg shook. Hit numerous ones on the delts but that's a lof different. You feel them quicker and stop. Wait your turn will come :whistle:

Jr may i ask where you normally inject? i had an sustaplex injected in my delt last year and that was the worst pain ever,could not lift my arm for 9 days.was hot and very red.( my supplier told me it was just because i injected in virgin muscle...) after that only glute,glutes for me is also a problem because i broke my neck,its hard to see what i am doing. i have never hit a vain in the glute (touch wood) so im happy to do it there.hopefully i would never experience what you went through,can just imagine what went through your mind at that time.

absolutely yes.thats what i needed to hear.now i know not to pin delts or quads in future.wii gladly take in from behind :whistle:

Can hit vains on the ass too, uncommon but it does happen. Hit a good one and you might just get a squirt of blood. Won't that be cool :whistle:

Sustaplex will do that - especially in virgin muscle. The delt starts off painfull but learns quickly. Deep Heat Spray helped alot in the beginning - now i dont feel it anymore.

I inject - side delt, upper/lower quad, Upper outer Glute - the whole area max/med.

When you need EOD/ED jabs i would extend that list and like Koe007 go fron/rear delt as well - just need to get past the mental block.

@ Jr do you use the same type of needle for delt/quad and glute?i guess i should do quads would be much easier to pin as for delts, i really dont want to go through that pain again.

29g wanneer j 'n water basis pin, 21g vir ander plekke. Hys dikker so gan moeiliker in maar brand nie wanneer jy die olie spyt. Al die olie basis goed is ewe dik
