insulin spike... was created by Wayne
Hey guys, i noticed my wife has a product called i-slim diet rescue. The ingredients are insul-x2(100mg), lagerstroemia speciosa(250mg) and chromium(50mcg). I was wondering whether i can use this to give me an insulin spike. I was thinking straight after training, i can have this pill and a protein shake...Good idea or bad idea?

no what it does is it makes your body more sensitive to insulin so it secrets less insulin making your own insulin more potent in layman's terms,so it means that you can handle more carbs with less insulin secretion.

basically being sensetive to insulin means that your body doesn't over secrete insulin.the more insulin resistant you are the more your body over secretes insulin.now remember insulin is your storage hormone so over secreting insulin means u will store more carbohydrates and fat if u are taking in to much...so the more sensetive to insulin u are the less likely a carb binge will make u spill over and store excess carbs as fat...

I've been taking Chromium supplements for a while now. I find that if a pig out on a chocolate i go Hypo. I suppose its because im learning new levels of sensitivity?
Obviously there was too much insulin there for the sugar causing the Hypo-glycemia. Will my body learn to excrete less insulin this way?
