Hit a vein? was created by Inn3rs3lf
happy fathers day to all!!!

so yesterday was the beginning of my cycle. I injected 2ml of depot into my glute and straight after, my knees went shaky, i fell to the chair, started getting extremelly dizzy. Ears were ringing and got blocked. vision was blurred. it was terrible. And might I add, scary as hell. worse than any drug I took in my younger years. From what ive heard, I had hit a vein or the like. however i didnt cough at all. took about 15 min to subside, but still felt the effects for about an hour. Is this caused from hitting the vein? Never aspirated before because I have never hit a vein before. But sure as hell will from now on.

But yeah. the coughing is a side effect from doing that, yet I didnt cough, or have the urge to cough at all.

What seems to be the problem here?

Maybe u nicked a nerve or ir mind was just playing tricks on u cause u haven't done this in a long time. I remmeber the last I hit a nerve, I had a sharp shooting pain that went threw my leg followed by sum discomfort.

You are either fooling around and if not, then you might have had a allergic reaction, mild allergic reaction is a possibility. If it was a true allergic reaction then you possibly could have sensitised yourself to the drug, second time around you may develop an full blown anaphalactic reaction---- be carefull.

Lol, sounds like it's in your mind, I've had a mate around 15 years experice with gear clutch out once, he hit the deck and bent the needle a bit, imagine if it snapped off in him.. get someone to pin you so you don't freak yourself out

Mmm, that would totally suck if I have developed something towards the cypionate. well, the cottonseed.

My fiance did the pinning, so I didnt see a thing. And was rather amped on getting it done. Wasnt that nervous at all.

Hope DJ can give his opinion on this........

Don't worry bro, after your 3rd or 4th pin u gonna kick yourself cause it does become painless--- by that I me the actual injection itself---- minor pain and I mean minor pain more like something that irritates you will develop after the shot itself, at the injection site.

Yeah, the piercing itself is painless. Cant feel a thing really. Can feel it going inside, but its nothing to warrant the reaction I had. Kinda making me nervous. lol, dont want to go into shock and have to be dragged to the hospital at 4 am.

Maybe its a mental thing combined with low blood sugar.I have an issue with this sort've thing when having blood taken, not cool when a 53kg little gp lady tries to catch my 100kg ass when I pass out when my blood sugar and pressure drops...it can just be a state of shock...

Inner- I know exactly how you felt bru! When I did my first two pins I definately nicked a vein or something like that! Was horrific! Felt like a mild a heart attack! Hahaha honestly was like okay I need ten minutes to re-cope:) its funny now but when it happens its not a joke. Don't stress to much about it- I mean that in the sense that you will learn where your body is more accustomed to pinning. Try avoid the glutes for a few pins and hit the quads. Far easier to focus on what you doing and where you pinning. And you sitting already;) Hope it goes well bru. Cheers. Ps- I did a lot of research regarding this topic when it happened to me and its more than likely you did snick a vein.. Also don't forget to draw back the syringe once injected, checking for blood.

Take a gun or a knife to a fight and it is no problem, but just take a needle and syringe and you will put the fear of God in a man. Enough said on that!!
