Laws wont be to different to a most countries.

Dont stress to much , law only applies to the size of your wallet!!!

Never fraternize with them as equals, never accept them as your social equals or they will devour you, they will destroy you.

In SA it isnt a really big thing but they normally go after the suppliers or manufactures...dont worry i dont think you will have to worry, just dont keep it in ur car or somewhere stupid like that.

If u do get caught with it you will be charged with with no precription for prescription drugs, and with drugs that r not certified as like a pharmasuitcal company would be.

No lets not deadlift as I need a double hip replacement haha

Why on earth would a normal person with an average IQ move to SA? Rather move to Iraq, Colombia or Sudan. :noway

If everybody does it, is it still cheating?

You guys will be surprised to know "THE GRASS IS NOT ALWAYS GRENNER ON THE OTHER SIDE".Sure we have violent crime here, but it happens all over the world,in some countries more than others. And very few countries can compare to our cost of living, not to mention 1 of the best places in the world to get AAS B) .And how many presidents can you think of who can have 6 wives and 20 kids and let the whole country pay for it,now that what i call a player.

guy there are other things that making living out of sa super expensive, child care and domestic workers.. if it wasnt for the domestic worker my parents have had for now 23 years,my brother, sister and i would've had to been sent to day care or after care at @1300 a kid a month if u are lucky... go to the uk and try and get ur kid into an after care service, its 500 pounds a month, nannies, 700 pounds a month and that doesnt include your washing, ironing and having your food cooked(even if its not the greatest job :P ) there are many costs and factors just on those 2 things alone that makes living in sa affordable...

DJ is right, we have negative and positives, i've lived in the UK for a few years and I can say, that I get by just fine in South Africa.. what you put in you get out, if you a lazy fucker that doesn't want to study or put effort in, don't expect a phat pay cheque... if you are doing what I said and not getting paid enough, give me your e-mail address and i'll forward to my sister who is a manager of the largest recruitment agency in the country...

FIRST,

Thanks to those who actually answered my original question. And I appreciate the advice. What I don't apperciate is the assumption that I am walking into things blindly. I have been all over this planet and some of the roads I have lived most people are afraid to even look down. To the rest of you who think you know me and my IQ... you show your own ignorance. Do not judge me or my decisions and I will not judge yours. I judge only your choice of words and lack of thought put into them....
If I wanted advice on where to relocate I certainly wouldn't ask here. My original question???? Gear and its laws in SA... and a good gym to train at...

I think most of the guys are just joking and dont mean to offend you but since you wanna be a smartass Here are your answers. Why dont you use that IQ that you speak about and google for gyms. As for laws on steroids there have been threads here already and if you used that great IQ of yours you would SEARCH before posting.Oh btw I dont know where you lived or not but id watch that attitude in SA we have ways of fixing things like that like no where else in the world.

Really!
Why is it that when asking a simple question attacks were made to my personal decisions and to your own country. This I do not understand. As a Canadian I am proud of where I am from and yes there is areas I would not travel to or live in. This is my point. These areas exsist in every major city be it London, Montreal, Brisbane... Bu8t thanks for the hospitality!

Nice from what I hear Canada rocks... our software is developed there... as I said dude, it rocks here, just as anywhere becareful who you buy from as you don't want to be injecting crap into your body... but i'm sure you will find somebody that knows somebody in no time... I don't know for 100% what the laws are but i'm pretty sure you aint going to have probles with a few vials of test. jelous you going to be living in CPT as much as the weather is crap some times, when it turns on its the most magical place in the world... hmm, I used to train at a gym just outside of town, it was a virgin, (well was a health and racket and virgin bought them out)if I remeber the name will tell you, it was very big and had nice weights and cardio section....

Thanks,

I wasn't looking to get into a pissing match with anyone. not my intentions. Just defending myself which any of you would have doen the same. So lets start this thread over.

Thanks for the heads up about not going into certain areas. I realize that SA will be a different experience for me but I have been travelling world wide for the last 15 years and locals know best.

This is why the question of the gym. Locals know best. I am not looking for a yuppie gym but somewhere to train with like minded individuals.
Thanks for all the advice... all taken into consideration!

Bro we are taking the piss but there are truth in what we joke about. You can do as much homework as you want but take advice from people that actually live here.

There are loads of virgin actives and planet fitness gyms in Cape Town. Just find out which is closest to area you stay. Where in CT are you relocating to?

During ur 1st week in gym you will see who shares ur "training methods". Otherwise go to the contact us section and enquire about liquid pharmaceuticals. You might be put in the right direction.

Peace out!!!!

PS you have to understand that hundreds of professional people are standing in line to leave the country. Its just weird for us to come across people who actually want to come live here. Fortunately for you its one of the most beautifull countries to stay

Yeah I quess I didn't get that one!

Thanks ABC for the insight.. advice taken. I completely understand about people trying to better thier careers even if it means leaving their home. My career happens to bring me to sometimes undesirable places. South Africa being one of the best posting I have been offered. I have been doing homework and will be visiting shortly to pickout areas to live... This is not my first posting to a foreign country.
And locals are the best to talk to and get a feel for the area..There is violence, poverty, and unhappy people in every country in the world. This we can not control. what we can control is how we adapt to our new surrounding and how aware we are.
