Reusable syringe

Hi everyone.

Does anyone know where I can get reusable syringes?

It popped into my head when I got home. I am struggeling to get syringes in my area. The pharmacies normally dont have stock or are weary selling like 20 at one go?


I reckon a reusable syringe will be more cost effective ?

Anyone have one, or know where I can get on..?

I get a bit of a guilty look in the dischem so i also don't like buying the stuff. I normally buy the boxes - less conspicuous.
You can buy them online as well.

I just bought a Dischem , They dont keep them behind the counter no more. They keep them in the first aid section.

So no need to ask anyone anything..

I took like 5 .. R3.50 each.. then R4.00 for four needles..

Want a reusabe one...

How do you plan to keep it sterile? The reusable ones that they use at hospitals have to be sterilized in a machine after being used.

Yeah I was thinking about the actual sterilization part.

I did not realise they actually use a machine to clean it.

I thought they they would use surgical alcohol to clean it.

I think they use a similar sterilization thingy that the tattoo parlors use to clean their ink needles and stuff...

I just wonder which one is more cost effective..

Prices for thing are getting stupid expensive.

I wanted to buy Animal pak today... R450.00!!

I remember paying like R1.50 - R2.00 for needle and syringe ..

Now most places are around R3.50 and over....

That's way too expensive... give Buddymed a try.

Here's a quote that I got from them awhile ago:

Syringe 1ml (100) = 42.90
Syringe 5ml (100) = 45.75
Syringe Insulin + needle (100) = 78.00
Alcohol swabs (200) = 20.00

Yeah they do, I once had to buy Insulin syringes here in town and I payed R4.00 each.

Try springbokpharmacy for Animal. Dischem is a ripoff.

Do not re-use a syringe, ever. Unless you have the right equipment like admin said. You are being a penny wise and will be more than a pound shy when you land up in hospital with an infection or worse. Admin gave good prices so rather buy there and keep them. Don't mess around with good injection protocol, you will be sorry.

I never have reused a syringe, and never will !

I was just wondering if you do get reusable ones and wonder how much they cost...
It would be great if could have one (with the right equipment to clean it of cause)

I have been noticing and watching how the prices at certain places are going up because they know most of the people buy the syringe use it for Bodybuilding .. So the up the prices...

Dont feel like supporting people that ripp of people...

Rather buy a couple for myself and my sell it to my mates at the same price..

( I have seen what happens when people reuse needles , or dont do it proper.. It not nice site when they cut out a chunk of your ass ,cause it went septic..)
