Hi Everyone,

Please advise what best cycle and or products to use. I am just starting out and want optimal results with a limited budget. How do I interact to obtain a reliable supplier. What type of supplements i.e. protein, creatine can I use that would help me in bulking up.

Thanks

Shjoe, I think you should read the forum cause that is about 80% of what we discuss here. Do some reading in the pages and come back with some questions concerning "grey areas" for you and fine tuning etc

Try some B12 to get that appetite going, but you must eat bro, or you will not grow. Supps are one way to get the required protein etc, so if that's the way you want to go them look at a shake that has high carbs, a mass gain shake. Solids would be first prize here, but there are plenty mass gain shakes out there. Some supp companies to look at are muscletech, Nutrition Lab, Optimum, BSN, Muscle Science, Evox, EAS and the list goes on.

Ultimate protein is that found in solid food bro, supps are just that, to suplement NOT replace.

B12 is 2 ml and 1 ml BCo, that's the combo I use. Injections are EOD and you can buy them from every pharmacy for around R20 for both and come in 10ml vials, it's the red and green ones.

The best protein supp is debatable, but I try and support the local guys as much as I can i.e. Nutrition Lab, the founder is really switched on and has his biochemistry degree to prove it as well. The man is a beast as well and is all natural, have a look at the new ME mag and you will see him and doc in the full page add there, his name is Ian Roothman. Hell of a nice guy and spoke to him a few times concerning his products.

@ Doc - Has the sales gone up since this forum has been running cause I am sure the referals have been allot and your wife seems real busy all the time?

Man, Netro - I don't know about her sales. The less I meddle with her affairs, the safer I am. You know how women are....
Just know they're working on a couple of new products..
I know she has been lank busy lately - best is to try her on her cell, sure she'll get back to you in time.

Hey Doc, got hold of her and ordered some stuff last week I think, delivery was lightning quick, but thanks.

@ Widdle - Bro, EOD shots (every other day, so, every 3rd day) and you can inject in the morning as you might not sleep if you inject in the evening or if you can only inject at night then just before you go to bed, like right before. You can continue as long as you like and have 1000mg vit c daily and zinc and magnesium (ZMA) before bed.

I know I punt Nutrition Lab, but I beleive they have an awesome range that is spot on and real value for money as well. the service is good considering i get all lmy stuff "on-line" and when I ask about info on the supps docs wife is very knowledgeable and if she doesn't know she either asks the man who designed them or her husband. At least I don't have some wannabe trying to shove USN down my throught at Dischem and when you say no thanks you get attitude. Also had one of them try and tell me that USN and Biogen are on par with muscletech, bwahaahaa

netro now u tell me, juz took my shots and damn my bump is on fire! what do u make of mxt's diet? do u knw it? seems loaded with protein?
i surfed the web earlier and will defintely look @ their products. what combo of products can i get 2 start off with on nutrition lab? there website is also a bit confusing, with buying 3 or more products u get 10% disc. is that on top of the individual online prices which also has a 10% disc?

Hi.I am an "oldtimer",turning 44,retired from competition 1991 or so but still active cause I love the weights and muscle.Best Advise is: learn as much as u can,but keep it simple.Train hard to be able to train harder.Eat clean, make it a habit,a part of your life. Juice is just a tool, its not the be all and end all.Sleep lots, drink little(or nothing).Stay away from the "recreational" chemicals, its actually stupid, not cool.Enjoy growing,it really is magic!:)

Widdle, solid advice there from shotput and take that to heart. You can mail the lady i deal with and her name is Antoinette and she will best advise you on what supps to take to acheive your goals. She will also explain the discounts etc. her mail details are as follows: EMAIL ADDRESS REMOVED

It is also on their website, but very small and easy to miss.

MxT's diet is very good and nice that he gives options for meal times and any advice from him is good advice so you can look at that, but it must fit your profile and goals. Have a look at the pages on nutrition and read them and you can work one out for yourself. You will not get better advice from anywhere else for the price you pay here and as shotput said, juice is only a tool and best utilised from a strong foundation. The foundation is correct training, diet and conditioning and the right knowledge on the subject to make informed decisions as to what you put in your body. if you have read the nutrion string and feel MxT's diet is right for you then by all means use it, but don't just use it cause it's there, like I said, knowlegde and decide for yourself. Nothing wrong with his diet, but it might not suite your goals and you also have to cycle your carbs and protein, but that you will see in the nutrition pages. Have fun and happy to answer any other questions and if I can't someone els here definately will be able to.

In order to have a healthy appetite you need to make sure your body has ample vitamins, this is one way of making sure your appetite is healthy. Whatever your body doesn't absord you will urinate out, so don't be alarmed if your urine is very yellow and you will see on training days it will absorb allot more. I would say you can stop the B12 and Bco when you are used to eating as you should and then just go for a good multi vit and vit c and ZMA at night. You best be the judge and the cocktail takes 3 to 4 shots to kick in, if you feel the shots are to painful you can drop the BCo cause that's the one that hurts and burns. See how it goes and you have to "train" your system to expect and "ask" for food every 3 or so hours, once that is in place you can swap to oral vits if you like.

Willem, I also made a come back last year after a lay off of 10 years. We're the same age - don't dispair - it does take some guts to start all over again. But this time, Sir, you are at the right place to use the knowledge from this Board - and I promise you, your come back will be quick and easy !

Doctari, Thanks for the encouragement. The road will be long and hard but so far so good. My ACL in my left knee has been completely reconstructed and ive got about 20% muscle in my left leg. Ive managed to put on 21kgs and have been back in the gym for 2 months now. I have a program that caters for that but need to get rid of the fat and put on the muscle. Will Test, Deca and Winstrol be a good start on a 12 week cycle or what suggestions do you or anyone have. I also need a website or something were i can read up on food and diets specific for our needs.

Hi Willem,
EMAIL ADDRESS REMOVED

You can have a look at the thread on nutrition and save yourself allot of reading, all the info you need is there on diets. I wait for Doc to give his opinion on your suggested cycle as estrogen becomes and issue when you hitting 40 as well as the progesterone sides from Deca. You may also want to look at an Equi/Winny/Var cycle if you want lean gains and some BF dropping, but I would reconsider the duration as 12 weeks is a little rough if you just getting back into the gym scene. Maybe have a look at the Quick-in-quick-out thread and see what Conan has suggested and maybe consider that if juice is the way to go for you.

Guys, I will again, as in the past, refrain from working out cycles off AAS's for people. I don't like telling you what and how much of AAS's to use, but can only comment what is generally used out there and give my opinions on such. Call me a pissy for that - it's fine by me. I do design cycles, actually a lot, but only for myself and for those that physically train with me and whom I can personally monitor at all times.

Hi all,
Doctari i understand where you coming from and dont have a problem with that but i would still like to hear your opinion and anyone elses on the issue of the duration of my cycle since ive been off so long and if on a 4 week cycle it would make a big diffrence if the amounts is increased or not??
Netro tanks for the names. I read up on them and see why you suggested them.
