Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a Kynoselen alternative and I've crossed paths with a product called Kyroligo.

Kyroligo is a combination of vitamins and minerals for use as a supplement in animals. Kyroligo doesn't contain the anabolic components in Kynoselen (HEPTAMINOL HCL), but that is not what I'm looking for anyway. All I want is a strong multivitamin in injectable form.

Before I start using this stuff, I would like to get your opinion on the composition of Kyroligo... I don't want to use this stuff and then find out later that some of the ingredients are dangerous for human use. :S

Composition per ml:

  • Vitamin A - 50,000 iu
  • Vitamin D3 - 25,000 iu
  • Vitamin B1 - 10 mg
  • Vitamin B2 - 0.04 mg
  • Vitamin B6 - 2 mg
  • Vitamin B12 - 0.01 mg
  • Vitamin E - 4 mg
  • Calcium pantothenate - 2 mg
  • Methionine - 5 mg
  • Inositol - 2 mg
  • Nicotinamide - 5 mg
  • Manganese sulphate - 0.1 mg
  • Zinc sulphate - 0.1 mg
  • Copper sulphate - 0.1 mg
  • Cobalt sulphate - 0.02 mg
  • Magnesium chloride - 0.78 mg
  • Choline chloride - 2.36 mg

  • Preservative:

  • Methylparaben - 0.1% m/v

  • Kyroligo is not a prescription medicine and can be bought at most vets for about R70 for 100ml

I will post photos later today.

As long as the sides don't entail things like: May experience an urge to chase moving vehicles .... May experience an urge to lick your own nuts    You know, things like that and lets not forget the ass sniffing, that would be hilarious. Sorry bud not a bio-chemist so I would say if you don't get a good response from Doc or someone similar, then research the ingredients. Also maybe just ask your local vet's opinion, worst they can do is say no. Is the purpose just for the vitamin side or something else? If you just want to stay anabolic and prevent catabolism, then there may be better options. Let us know

    Lol, yeah.

I'm more concerned about the Vit A... as far as I know it can be toxic in very high dosages.

Maybe I can get Batman to test it out... he is the chemical testing ground after all. ;)

Okay, here we go. I called the manufacturer in SA and they basically said that it is desgined for anaimals ... Duh and no human study has been done, but the dosages would differ as the RD are for animals. Their R&D department will call me back and see if they can shed some more light on this, but it seems that it won't be a problem, but let's wait and see if they do get back to me and what they have to say. I will probably get a moral lecture, but hey, all in a days work.

Ahh damn, are they perhaps doing that on purpose to keep people from using their products?
