a newbie over here , requesting advice on how to cycle ANAVAR .
i'm a 30 year old male , 6 months ago I started my weight loss journey at which point I weighed 96kg .
thru intense cardio and weight training as well as ECY and CYT3 I finally weigh a decent 67kg . BTW I haven't used a PCT after CYT3 ...
I'm currently clean for approximately 3 weeks now just using a pre-workout and protien shake
now looking to add on some lean muscle and shape up abit more .
kindly advise me on what brand anavar to use , what dosage and cycle as well as PCT also do you recommend I stack it with something else ?
I'm not comfortable with injecting myself and don't wana go to harsh on my liver etc
BTW Approx 10 years ago when I trained with a bodybuilder I've used various roads such as dianbol , winstrol etc , so I do have some VERY VERY basic knowledge about roads.
thanking you all in advance

What is your daily diet?
What does your training routine look like list everything including weights used for each exercise, how many reps for each set and how many sets done.
How many hours a day do you sleep?
What is your goal?
Without all of these in place, your anavar cycle will give your shit results.

so here it goes my diet is based on a high protien , low carb , I've cut out all sugars , I drink approximately 3l of water a day .
on a typical day my meals are as follows:
( not in order )
2 × protien shakes ( 23g protien each )
2 × eggs ( either boiled or scrambled )
1 × crumbed fish with a side salad
1 × tin of tuna on whole wheat bread .
on the odd day I will include a fruit or 2 , I also try to snack on a pinch of nuts here and there .
I would love to get to the point of being able to track my macros etc however I don't have the knowledge and resources to do so .
I'm currently training once a day everyday , whereby I include 30 min of treadmill followed by weight training.
shoulders : DB Lateral Raises , DB overhead Shoulder presses , Forward DB Raises , Bentover Upright Rows , Barbell Press , Barbell Shrugs , DB Shrugs, Kettlebell snatches .
Back : single arm DB rows , T Bar Rows , Barbell bent over Rows , Barbell Deadlifts , Barbell Shrugs , Dumbell Shrugs
biceps and triceps : DB biceps curls , Barbell Bicep Curls , DB Preacher Curls. Standing Hammer Curls , Concentration Curls .
Narrow push ups , Dumbell Kickbacks, Bench Dips ,
CHEST : incline push ups , landmine press ,neutral press , incline DB press , underhand DB press , DB press , incline , decline & flat barbell press
legs : Squats , leg press , Hamstring Curls, Deadlifts
I aim to do 3 sets of each exercise , with 12 reps then 10 then 8 .
unfortunately I do not have the strength that I use to have 10 years back when I was on dianbols etc , i also had a shoulder injury as well as suffering with lower back pain , therefore I use relatively light weights for all exercises
Dumbell workouts I range between 8kg - 12kg
Barbell workouts ibrange between 35kg - 50kg
on average I get between 6.5 & 7 hours sleep a day ( I have 2 early bird kids so yeah )
my goal is to be lean , hard and muscular . I don't want to compete I just want to maintain a lean muscle physique .
If you require more info please do hit me up .
Thanks in advance

training 7 days a week isn't going to be a good idea, you can actually get away training 4 day a week, training upper body and lower body, 2x a week, 1 major compound exercise per muscle group, but increasing your intensity.
i quote you here "I aim to do 3 sets of each exercise , with 12 reps then 10 then 8 ."
so do you do the first set and do 12 reps and rack it when you could have gotten 15 reps? then increase the weight and then get 10 reps but could have gotten 12?
you need to have more of a structured diet to aid recovery, then you need to train less but more intensity to grow muscle, do this for 3 months BEFORE you start Anavar and set yourself up for success instead of spinning your wheels.

Run a simple novice progression like stronglifts or something.
You are clearly a beginner, so milk those easy gains.
No need to overcomplicate anything and definitely no need for ped's.

Give it a couple of months to get your diet sorted and a better training routine. You're doing too many exercises so you definitely are not resting long enough between sets which means you are not lifting with enough intensity. If you can rest for 30 seconds between your working sets for compound lifts and then do a set with the same weight for the same reps you are not lifting enough weight. If you're worried about going heavier because of injuries then slow down the movement (particularly eccentric motion) so you have more time under tension.
If you're doing so many sets per workout and are training every day your intensity is no more than 5 to 6 out of 10 and won't build much muscle. It might feel intense because you're out of breath and have lactic acid burn, but it becomes more like a cardio workout.

I think we may have a runner after asking these questions ????

Yep, these day I'm more surprised when guys actually take the good advice. It's no surprise that most people in gym don't even look like they lift even if they train 5 days a week.

few things I'm don't understand from the previous posts :
@Empire regarding my reps and sets what I'm actually doing is for eg : shoulder press I start with a 12kg do 12 reps , then go down to 10kg do 10 reps then 8kg doing 8 reps .
I'm assuming I'm doing something wrong in that regard .. kindly advise what method you suggest ?
@muscleaddict , what should my calorie intake be?
to sum it I'm assuming what you guys mean is that I should do fewer exercises, with more intensity in heavier weight less reps ?
you guys probably get asked this alot but would it be possible for 1 of you pro's to provide me with a training plan and perhaps and example of a meal plan ( I don't eat chicken ???? so yeah I'm quite limited )

Ok by doing lighter and lighter weights essentially making each set easier, you are not going to grow.
I would rather see you doing 3 sets of 6-10 reps, so a weight that is light enough you can get 6 reps, but so heavy you can't get more than 10 reps.
You should really be focusing on creating good stimulus for muscle growth, that happens with slow and controlled reps (3 seconds negative , 1 second positive.) With a decent weight for a good amount of sets for 1 compound exercise, more than multiple exercises with "junk intensity."

As a beginner to intermediate every week you want to either add a bit more weight to your lifts, or get an extra rep or 2 with the same weight as the week before.
In the diet and contest prep section of the forum look for the highlighted sticky thread on calorie intake, and dieting 101. No point in just giving you a diet if you don't know why the changes were made.
