U.P.A. subq bad idea was created by TheTrain
Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share a quick anecdotal experience. I have been taking UPA's Test E subq with a slim pin at 0.5ml x 2 per week. I have done this before multiple times with Keifei and did not have any issues.

However with UPA I get bad lumping and redness. No itching or burning so not infection. My body just doesn't like it.

I assume it has to be a result of the carrier oils.

Just an FYI for those using UPA.

I havent had issues but I inject smaller dosages more frequently.
So I dont go above .25 at a max.

Hardly ever get lumping or issues but I do think I am lucky. I dont get PIP or any pain when using any of the tests (even with PGW 300 which apparently is awful for some people) and I almost never get lumping

Ive started a cycle and I think I might just switch to IM in the delts twice a week and go back to subq for TRT when I end it.

I recently switched from subq to shallow IM vetro glute shots using a 29 gauge half inch slin pin. Absolutely painless and no lumps.

I've had my fair share of subq lumps, one of which has been slowly dissolving over the past 2 months. Hard as n rock, lucky not painful or infected. I get these lumps regardless of brand used, I do however agree that there might be an individual reponse to certain carrier oils.

Strangely enough I have never had any issues with test cyp, always test e. This might just be pure coincidence though.

at the end of the day, if you read on the bottle and i will quote for you "for intramuscular injection" you kinda do want to go that route.

sadly majority of underground gear has got benzyl alchohol in it and that is going to cause the inflamation as adipose fatty tissue has poor blood flow.

only stuff i was able to ever inject from sub q from sa is depo-test at 0.5ml at a time which is only 50mg.

upa is a trusted source when you use it intra muscularly. as with all brands in sa, which make me wonder which brand you recommend.

also injecting tren e and test e subq is probably more volume than you can actually handle unless you are doint 0.25ml of each per time.

I was doing IM injections and not even high volume, only 0.5ml, glutes mostly, Im not recommending a spesific brand, Im just going back to what Ive used that I know doesnt give me issues. Might give it another go with lower volume and pinning maybe 2 spots to get to the full dose.

You did not mention that you were injecting IM and this thread is about SQ injections which is creating confusion, so provide all the details going forward.

I've had no issues using UPA Tren E or Test Cyp IM in my glutes. Their Tren is good stuff.

I can only comment on my experience. Been using UGL test for Trt for about 4 years.

I inject 0.18ml EOD SubQ. I do bloods twice yearly.

I have used Vmed, UPA and Oxygen Labs. I have always injected SubQ.

Vmed was my 1st, was using it until supply stopped. Never had issues and bloods checked out. I got 2 vials of UPA, both unfortunately have me big red lumps. Tried it in 2 different areas and same result. My opinion is that it may be the carrier oil used.

I have since switched to Oxygenlabs. Bloods check out as expected. Never ever had issues with lumps or unexpected sides. This has been for about 2 years.

I'm getting more reports of other people having similar experiences from UPA Test Cyp as well as their Peptides.

Sounds like a Benzyl benzoate or benzyl alcohol related problem...

Been checking a bit and not sure if UPA changed their formula but from what I've heard(think it somewhere on this forum too) they used Ethyl Oleate and that have been know to cause issues. Sad they gear manufacturers don't state the basic things like, what carrier oil they use, do they use Benzol Alc/Benz, although I think 95% use it as the antimicrobial preservative, I personally think for me it's more the Carrier oil causing my current issue. Maybe just grabbing at straws but will just test another brand that uses Grape seed, that I know I'm fine with, but first need to get this red balloon back to normal with my antibiotics.

If they use Ethyl Oleate then that is likely the problem. Ethyl Oleate is nasty stuff.

Yes I think it's the solvent. Had no issues at all with IM though. Only SC is a bit of a disaster with UPA cyp.
