Hey Guys

Follow up on my other post about Cholesterol

Here are the rest of the results

Test Result Range
S-TSH 1.34 uIU/mL 0.35 - 4.94

S-FT4 (Abbott) 11.6 pmol/L 9.0 - 19.0

TESTOSTERONE (TOTAL) 9.7 nmol/L

The following guidelines have been recommended by the
International Society of Andrology:
Total testosterone:
>12 nmol/L : probably does not require therapy
<8 nmol/L : may benefit from testosterone therapy
8-12 nmol/L : If symptomatic and supported by a decreased
calculated free testosterone level, may
benefit from testosterone therapy.
It is recommended that testosterone measurement be repeated
between 0700 and 1100hrs in assessment of clinical
hypogonadism.

SEX HOR. BINDING GLOBULIN 12.60 nmol/L 11.1 - 78.1

FREE TESTOSTERONE 293 pmol/L 180 - 739

Free testosterone is calculated based on constants for the
binding of testosterone to sex hormone binding globulin and
albumin as described by Vermeulen et al.
The 95 % reference range in men older than 18 years is 180
to 739 pmol/L.
In men free testosterone below 180 pmol/L indicate
hypogonadism and testosterone supplementation may be
appropriate after exclusion of alternative causes. Free
testosterone above 250 pmol/L is commonly regarded as
normal. Free testosterone values between 180 and 250 pmol/L
may provide supportive evidence for treatment dependent on
clinical symptoms.

S-FERRITIN 513 ng/mL 20 - 300 H

A serum ferritin > 300 ng/mL in men may indicate Iron Overload, Anaemia of
Chronic disease or an Acute phase response.

P-GLUCOSE fasting 5.30 mmol/L 3.3 - 6.0

INSULIN (FASTING)-S 5.0 uU/mL 2.7 - 10.4

............................................................
: Insulin levels should not be used for the diagnosis of :
: INSULIN RESISTANCE. :
:..........................................................:

HOMA INDEX 1.17 0.08 - 2.0

............................................................
: Use of the HOMA index in ROUTINE clinical practice :
: remains to be proved. Some evidence based data support :
: the diagnosis of insulin resistance if: :
: The BMI is > 27.5 kg/m2 and the HOMA index is > 3.6 :
: (Ref: Best Practice and Research Clinical Endo & Metab :

QUICKI INDEX 0.374 > 0.375 L

............................................................
: The above range applies to non obese patients. :
: In obese patients the Quicki index cutoff value is :
: lower - that is >0.321 :
:..........................................................:

GLUCOSE/INSULIN RATIO 1.060 > 0.25

G/I-ratio, HOMA Index, Quicki Index, are unreliable with an
abnormal fasting glucose ( >6.0 mmol/L)
The thyroid results indicate euthyroidism.

How long have you been off all gear and sarms since your last cycle and what did you take? Don't get prescriptions based one one blood test.

I used MHR last month together with LGD and MK. Just going to use MK for the next month on its own to see if it helps improve my cholesterol levels.

The doc wrote me a script for Storwin , but im not going to get that as yet. My cholesterol might have been a little higher because ive been eating red meat almost the whole week for one meal

Keep taking the MK, but your cholesterol levels will improve because you're recovering post cycle, not the MK.

You can't draw any solid conclusions from your bloodwork because you've just come off MHR and LGD. No need to complicate it more than that. It's unreliable info unfortunately. Your Doc has no idea what's in the pills you've been taking and what effect they've had.

It takes longer than a few weeks for your cholesterol/liver/testosterone to recover. Also, your cholesterol won't change much in one week from adding in a steak every day. Chicken and steak contains almost the same amount of cholesterol. Just stick with lean cuts.

I’m assuming you didn’t do any type of PCT? In my opinion...your LH and FSH are very low. This tells me your pituitary is not pumping LH to signal your testes to produce testosterone, put very simply. Basically your HTPA looks shut down. Your total test is low, your free test is slightly low but I reckon that only looks halfway OK because your SHBG is low, probably from the MHR. Once your SHBG normalizes your free test will be lower. In a TRT candidate LH is high and testosterone is low. Their body is trying to produce but the testes aren’t doing it. It really looks like you’re shutdown. MHR and some sarms could have done it.
You may want to consider running some hcg to try restart the process and see if it’s just shutdown due to gear, or if you have another issue.

As for the cholesterol, I’m not familiar with the meds, but if it’s a type of statin I would very carefully consider my options before jumping in it.

Hope that helps. Good luck.

Well you have a big red flag with ferritin, and cholesterol. There is ways to work it, but let your body detox and see where these figures are.. I would go and do a donation to get that ferritin into normal range. Next time you do bloods make sure to check homocysteine levels, it could be the key as to what is going on and please ALT and AST.

I always do PCT yes. Cant find my previous blood results but all my levels were fine and in range after PCT.

Think it might just be the combo of the MHR and sarms. I have some DAA that i use to help the natural levels and it always seems to help a little, along with ZINC and D3.

I forgot to add the Haematology>>

You were running LGD and MHR a few weeks ago, then did PCT, and your Total T is 9.7 with LH under 2 right after PCT?

Something is off here. Almost impossible given the info you've provided, unless your HPTA just royally fucked out suddenly.

That's why your numbers look like a TRT candidate. MHR contains a few products, 3 of which, if I remember correctly, are DHT based. So it's not tough to deduce what they are. Those products will cause some shutdown and will also reduce SHBG. LGD has been shown to cause HTPA shutdown and reduce SHBG. I'm sure you could wait and see how long your system takes to restart, not convinced I would go that route myself though.

Yeah i had a feeling my numbers were abit low. Just did all the test as part of the yearly checks i do. I am going to continue with the DAA and ZMA. I have always used 2 drops of arimidex once a week during PCT which also seemed to help.

Just a note on your cholesterol. Was you test done after MHR and LGD? If so that could also be a reason for the results. Maybe let it all clear up and recover properly, then do another test to see if there is improvement before jumping onto scripts.

Yeah tests were done about a week after stopping the MHR and stuff. Just went for a checkup, forgot I should wait longer. Thats why im not going to use the Cholesterol meds just yet. Both my parents used meds for it so i will probably have to one day. But not today :side:

I started in 2016, under Dr prescription. I've tested protocols from 100mg/week to 250mg/week. I stopped going to the Dr because you struggle to get a script for 200mg/ml making it expensive, also because convincing the DR that high normal is a good place and not just mid normal and lastly the fact that I have to pay R300 to see him for a script every month. I get my own bloods done and monitor them, sometimes every 3 months if I feel I need it. I've never gone over the given range and currently am just within range.

I've been tracking my blood results and dosages since I started, testing every 6 months or so. The real problems came about when I did a cardarine and LGD run and when I ran adex after an NPP course. None of that worked well for me. My method now is to stay on test and if I blast, I up my test and add masteron.

I really didn't feel good running it, admittedly I had some problems with the test Cyp I was using being underdosed and the LGD crashed me hard. I couldn't pin point the problem so just stopped and didn't finish the course. I've found the more I play around the less my TRT works for me and the harder it is to get balanced again. I overthink things so generally end up worrying about the slightest drop in mood or libido and then overcorrect with higher doses of test or taking Adex. My last 2 blood tests show adex, at 0.6mg/week, took my E2 from 160pmol/l to 48pmol/l in 6 weeks. So I've decided to stop correcting my E2 and just reduce the Test C dose.

I'm keeping it basic now as far as possible.

oh okay I see, just read your sticky on TRT. Good work there.

I will monitor my mood and things for the next few weeks, but i can feel my test is low. Have been more tired than normal the last few weeks and so. might be a combo of a little increase in bodyfat and lower than normal test levels. getting married in september so want to sort these things out

I'm not sure what your levels were like before the MHR/LGD, it's probably just your system trying to recover, nothing clinical hopefully. I read that after a 21 day run of LGD, recovery was complete by day 56, so 35 days to recover. I'd treat that as broscience but it's the only thing I could find when I was looking. If you want to recover naturally now, I would suggest bloods again early July. Increased levels of TT FT, LH and FSH, or even just the last two would indicate your system is recovering. If nothing has changed by then I would honestly consider a mini PCT and see. If nothing changes after that head off to a good endo and see what they say. Good luck for September.
