Your thoughts/experiences on Deca-Durabolin?

I've started planning my next cycle and I'm considering using Deca. To this point I've never used an injectible that is not test. Used Test E and Supertest and had great results.
My primary goal is strength and size. I would run Deca for 16 weeks alongside test E with a kickstarter (considering tbol or adrol as I haven't used those yet).
What are your experiences using Deca?
What dose would you recommend a first timer? 300-350mg/wk seems to be popular.
Any advice is welcome.

350mg Deca
40 or 60mg Tbol weeks 1-4
should be good...
Using Anadrol while checking whether deca is a good compound for you wouldn't be ideal as it comes with quite bad side effects for some users, Tbol is less harsh and will give you some nice lean gains to start the cycle.

1 - 12: Test E @ 500 mg/week
1 - 10: Deca @ 300 mg/week
1 - 4: Superdrol @ 30 mg/week
Weight raised from 84,8 kg to 93,2 kg (Stable) currently during week 10 but i'm staying very lean at around 10 % body fat. Strength has dramatically changed and shot through the roof. The Superdrol was a slightly different kicker and I loved the hard lean gains it gave me in a very small time frame and they held right through into week 5 where the Deca and Test properly kick in.
My last Deca cycle involved Test E @ 750 mg/week and Deca @ 400 mg/week, resulted in a higher stable weight of 95 kg but my body fat shot up to 15 % and the side effects were not worth the extra strength and mass gains. Deca heavily suppresses natural Test production and my PCT just did not get the job done right (Sorting it out this time though) and I took a long time to recover and ended up loosing gains.
Deca is excellent for strength and adds some thickness but my advice would be to get the PCT right. Then again, this only my 2c since I'm a noob with 3 cycles under my belt.

From my research, that does seem to be the case, that Deca is extremely suppressive and it is a concern for me as well. I recovered really easily from my test cycles so wouldn't wanna mess up with Deca.
Awesome to have a member here currently running Deca with an example cycle to look at, those weight gains are damn good.

Yeah I think Tbol is good. Probably start at 40mg and ramp it up to 60.

Would you mind sharing what your diet is like, just for interest sake? Im also in the same weigh class (84kg). Im in week 2 of my test e, tbol, eq and later anavar. Im more looking at a “lean bulk” approach for this cycle. I also considered deca, but decided to get a few more cycles under the belt before i go the deca and tren route

How much to run and how often? When to start and when to stop?
For some Abs are made with lighting & angles... For others they are made in the kitchen.

I've always followed iifym to some extent. Always looked at overall macro and micronutrients intake rather than what exactly I am eating. Within reason ofc, if I can get my sources from real food or 'healthier' intakes then that's ideal.
If I'm bulking I track calories and protein, carbs and fats not so much. Bulking I usually go for 3000-3500 cals. And generally try to get 1.2g of protein per kg of body weight. But there's so many different formulas around the net regarding that.
If I'm on cycle I up the ratio a bit, because I believe that you have increased protein synthesis so if your body can use more protein why not up it a bit.
For cutting I actually kept my diet more or less the same I just added cardio and stopped trying to pr every second week on big lifts seeing as I mostly do strength training.
And that generally puts me in a decefit.
But I am naturally leaner, so it might be different for someone with a slower metabolism.

Do you get enough protein with that amount...I'm trying to get to about 2.5gr/kg for protein - I hope I haven't cocked up my calcs...for my cycle I want to hit 3/3500 Cals with 50%/30%/20%...how do you get to your calorie intake? increasing your fat intake a lot?

The same way you would track protein.
I have a food scale and I weigh what I eat. When I make a protein shake I will weigh my contents. 50g powder is x amount of calories. Usually have to take the per 100g and calculate it. Then the milk, 300ml milk into the blender is x amount of cals and the y amount of protein. Put it into a spreadsheet and it adds it all up. I think there are apps that do this as well, but I like this way.
I can't say that 2.5/kg of bw is wrong, I can only say what worked for me. But it definitely is a lot. For a 120 kg male that's 300g of protein/day which is a ton and must be hard to get in. It might be excessive, you could get the same gains with 250g of protein most likely. Might be hard on your body to process that every day. I'm sure one of the mods can give you a more defined answer.
That being said, this is just my experience and if you're on cycle, definitely upping it won't hurt.
I'm sure there's some technically correct formula, but I've been able to bench 140 kg's on my peak of my last cycle and I followed this, a feat that obviously is as result by the use of AAS, but for someone my size I will always be happy with that.

I was getting 80-130g/day of protein depending on the day. Mostly around 110-120/day and that 80 being a low on a non training day when I was sick.

A lot of carbs tbh. As I was focusing on strength primarily I didn't care if I had too much carbs or fat, but generally they were ok. I gained maybe 3% bf over two cycles and both were 'bulking' cycles so obviously didn't gain a ton of fat despite just wanting to be strong.
Age may also play a factor as I was 24 at the time.
Are you struggling to hit 3500/day? It's not that hard, if you eat very clean it can be, but otherwise it adds up quickly.
I ate a lot of beans apparently lol, I see this a lot.
410g Baked Beans 315 18.45 45.1 1.23
315 being the cals, 18.45 the protein, 45 carbs and 1.23 the fats, but I rarely tracked fat.
410 implying I ate the whole can.

I generaly aim for 2g per kg. With my minimum protein intake being 200g.
For you guys in the 80kg range aim for 160g to 180g per day and try to devivde into 50g max per meal. The reason some of the big boys eat so many times per day comes down to the body can only use 50g protein per meal or in a certain time frame or atleast that is the way guys think about it and what most guys aim for and stick to.
It is on you. It always has been...

With a weight of 86, I'll aim for 200r then...this is where I am mos getting confused....
BMR of about 2400
If I want to go with a 50/30/20 split, just to make my BMR (taking 4cal/4cals/9cal per gram for each), that's:
1200 cals from protein (300gr protein)
720 cals from carbs (180gr carbs)
480 cals from fat (53gr fat)
If I want to add mass with my cycle, I would expect to eat over my BMR...
am I duh here, or not be thunking straight
