Hi all.

So I recently found out that I have left bundle branch block(basically a delay of electronic impulses to the left side of the heart) and it happened about 4 months after I finished my pct off a cycle of equipoise, test cyp etc. I was doing a lot of running, cycling, and the odd occasion in the gym.(There were some MDMA's thrown in the picture too- but not while on cycle)
After my cycle and Oct, work got the better of me and spent most of my time stuck at the office till 9-10pm every night for a while, feeling drained I went to the dr and had an ecg to find I have LBBB. The cardiologist came around to do an echocardiogram and the valves are all okay, and heart size isn't abnormally big. We did bloods as well (thyroid etc) and they came back within range.

So my question is... Is it possible that steroid use is what caused the block? Or could it have been an underlying condition all along and never noticed it?(very possible)

There isn't much info around besides getting a pacemaker fitted but the cardiologist said I should wait a bit to see if it corrects its self and if it gets worse then the pacemaker will be fitted.

Any knowledge on this will be appreciated

Good day Sir.......

Please note as I am not your specialist the information given here is not a diagnosis or directing you to a specific treatment for your condition. Please follow your Doctors treatment schedule and advise.

When it comes to matters of the heart and especially with its etiology it can be difficult to pin point a specific cause as there could be numerous factors involved eg age, underlying conditions and acute pathophysiologies.

LBBB could be a serious condition if associated with acute symptoms or could be a chronic condition if the symptoms were there but you were not aware of them.

Yes....... AAS could certainly have resulted or aggravated your condition. From experience LBBB is a result of a cardiac condition whether it might of have been from an electrolyte "disturbance" and or an acute cardiac event.

The advise on this forum is to always get bloods done.........this forum also advocates safe AAS use hence the advise from some of the more experienced users and more worrisome bro-science.

Did you discuss your AAS with the cardiologist? What was your Trop-T and cardiac enzyme results? Did they do an angiogram...?

If the cardiologist says he needs to fit a pacemaker then what is your underlying rhythm meaning where is the block or conduction disturbance.
Do you have a AV Block: 2nd degree, Mobitz II or 3rd degree block....?

What medication are you on...?

As you can see there is a lot of information you are not divulging and in my opinion you should stay away from AAS use.

Your condition is serious.

Regards
