ester weight

Hi guys!

Just want to ask a question on how do you work out your required dosages for a cycle.
Do you use the dosage weight printed on the vial or do you use the actual steroid weight minus the ester.

So for example if you wanted to do 500mg test per week and have a vial of test cyp250... do you use 2ml per week to give you 500mg OR do you minus the ester? In which case the ester weight of cyp is roughly 30% of the actual 250mg, leaving you with 175mg actual test in the vial, meaning you would have to do roughly 3ml per week instead of 2ml.

The "dosage" on the vial is not a dosage, it's a concentration.

For example if you want to do 500mg Test per week and your gear is Cyp250, it's 250mg/ml.
500mg required per week, in 2 doses.
∴ 250mg twice per week.
∵ 250mg per ml in vial
∴ 250/250 = 1ml
∴ 1ml twice per week

The concentration is a measurement, not a recommended dose. Forget about the ester volume, if it'll make you sleep better at night, you can add more ml in your pin to compensate, but most just take it as is.

I read your first post and omitted the ester saga for a reason.

Dosages on the forum are based on the concentration on the vial.

Since we're on the topic,what has more active test (minusing the ester weight)

350mg of test E
Or
350mg sust?

Taking into account of the different length esters in the sust.would there be more actual test in the sust or in the test E?
Am I over thinking it?

Jono, did you mean Sust325? If not, provide me with the composition of Sust350 and I can work it out. But for Sust325 it vs. Test Enanthate:

Sust325 = Testosterone Acetate 30mg + Testosterone Propionate 50mg + Testosterone Phenylpropionate 50mg + Testosterone Cypionate 90mg + Testosterone Decanoate 105mg

Using the following concentrations:
Testosterone Acetate: 83mg
Testosterone Propionate : 80mg
Testosterone Enanthate : 70mg
Testosterone Cypionate : 69mg
Testosterone Phenylpropionate: 66mg
Testosterone Decanoate: 62mg
Testosterone Undecanoate: 61mg

I get Sust325 = 69.92mg/100mg
and Enanthate = 70mg/100mg

So Enanthate wins by a small margin.

I guess I was over thinking as well. I want to do a NPP cycle and was researching eod dosages and came across that NPP only has roughly 65% active steriod in it. So if I wanted to do 400mg a week that would have left me with 260mg excluding the ester and some people say minimum of 300mg a week. So I guess I was just worried I'd be wasting my gear.
