Starting my first cycle.

Hi guys. I've been reading this forum every day for two weeks, trying to understand and learn as much as possible. I have ordered the required goods, which should arrive this week, to start my first cycle.

I am following the beginner cycle on this site exactly (DBOL + TestCyp followed by the PCT) as written.

My one concern is that I am prone to acne. I had a course of Accutane two years ago which cleared it up completely. Should I use an AI from day one to mimise the chances of getting bad acne? If so, which one?

I have not ordered an AI, but will do so if you guys recommend.

Age: 48
Height: 178
Weight: 80
Lowish bodyfat (I can see my abs, almost )
Been lifting for about 3 years now, and want a bit of a push to get to the next level.

Any advice appreciated.

Nobody will be able to tell you what will happen since it's your first cycle and there is no past experiences to go by.

You'll have to start the cycle and tackle the side-effects as they come. No use stressing over something that might or might not happen.

I don't think it would hurt to have an Ai on hand if there's no need for it this cycle you can always use it for future cycles or at the start of your pct. If you do get one I'd get aromasin.
I am also prone to acne. They start to pop up mid cycle and carry on after pct. I have never taken accutane though (never had the guts to). From what I've read people who have taken the full course of accutane as recommended seldom get acne in the future(I may be wrong on this) . A friend of mine takes a low maintenance course during cycle to prevent flare ups but I would not recommend this as it can be harsh on liver when combined with and oral. Like admin said you've got to see from your experience on this cycle because it's your first.

I am on day 5 of following the beginner's cycle, which I am following exactly.

So today was day 5 of DBOL and my 2nd TEST CYP injection.

How was your first pin?
The way I understand it you can start the hcg now. At 5000 iu, 250 iu x 2/wk should last 10 weeks.

But I recommend waiting for someone knowledgeable like admin or oupa to aid you just to be safe.

First and second pins were fine, no pain. Which surprised me, first time I ever stuck a needle in myself. And that needle is a lot longer than it looks, when you're sticking it into your leg!

For this cycle start the HCG Week 4 up to PCT. For a first cycle it's important not to use any ancillaries to see how you react to the Test. You have to have an AI on hand in case you need it. Can't depend on your source to come through for you trust me on this.

I have ordered Aromasin, which should arrive end of next week, just in case I notice some itching
I will do as you have advised, and start HCG once I've completed the 4th week of pinning (correct?)
250iu twice a week as DruOmedra recommended?

Rather Arimidex as Aromasin takes a while to kick in where Arimidex acts fast.
