Hi guys.

As the title says. Haven't found much on this in my searches, hoping to get an answer here. What is the procedure for getting your blood work done for test levels etc. Can't really approach the family doctor with this question.

Thanks guys.

Labs are full of shit lately and they say you need a doctor referral. They used to be happy to accept your money but not anymore. I would suggest you tell your doctor you want to test everything and test just happens to be one of them.

Damn. Is it worth the try though? If I was to give it a try would I just go to the lab, get blood taken, tick relevant boxes on the form, and wait for the results?

The smaller and indi labs will still accept. What city do you stay in? Maybe I can help out.

A while back I needed some bloods done and a friend of mine recommended Lancet. Went to them and they gave this tick box form to fill out on what ever you needed checked(the general form). Maybe try them.

Had some blood done with them before, but a none related test, and was through my derma. I know the form you are talking about. So would it just be a matter of walking in and asking for and filling out the form, getting the blood taken, then waiting for them to post/email results?

I go to a Pathcare branch.
I say that I am a self referral patient.
I choose my tests - pay the money - give blood samples - go back 1-2 days later and pick up results with my drivers license.

Not complicated at all...

Yeah that's what I did Bro. I asked if they perform independent blood tests and the guy was like ja. So I basically got one of those forms took it home Googled a whole lot of hormones and stuff and ticked and sent of. Everything came back good except for cholesterol(lols).

But bare in mind this was half way through last year and Pyroclasm says they full of shit now so I don't know what's the deal.

It's worth a try asking them though. Or why not get a referral from a random doctor?

Normally when you go to a local business you are fine. Bare in mind that I live in a major city and where they used to be okay with self referrals they aren't anymore. I use Lancet as they are the least full of shit.

Also looking at doing independent bloods. Docs charge normal consult fees just to read it to you and use they referral.
Called lancet now. They only work on referrals.

Ampath is the worst with rules! Is this a post cycle check or mid cycle check, or?

Agreed. But not only rules, their accounts department is retarded and deserves to be sued.

Not necessarily mate. Do bloods pre cycle, and post PCT. Any other bloods should be ad lib when problems arise.
