Howdy all,
Avid reader and lurker on the site, learned loads of you guys and gals. Cycles have been pretty smooth so far with not much in the line of side effects. Started the Equipose powerhouse cycling it is a great cycle. Strength is way up and recovery time very good.
Only problem i have is with sleep, drinking a 15 mg Dormicum before bedtime prior to starting cycle was great and most of the time only used 7.5 mg. This cycle has blown sleep pattern out the water though. No sleeping meds does a thing and also struggling with sleep apnea which was never a problem before.
Tired so when driving to work find myself nodding off. Serious problem.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

A dormicum does not make you sleep now? That is hectic. Why do you take it off cycle? Doctors only prescribe that for very severe insomnia, and your body can become dependent on it very fast as I'm sure you know.
If you are prone to sleep apnea even just using testosterone can cause problems. I would see a specialist if I was you.

Good idea, seeing the ENT next week. Think it's more a case of apnea causing bad sleep.
Normally have a spell or two of insomnia per year which lasts a month but normally related to flu or sinus infection causing irritation of throat and lungs.

Hey Bulrider76, I suffer from chronic insomnia for a while now, I suspect my TRT plays a large role in it.
Benzo's don't work for me either. If you can, get a script from your doc for Zolipden (Ambien, available as Stillnox in RSA), it knocks me out well enough. To make it more effective, take sleelping pills with a dose of GABA.
Best of luck mate.

I've got chronic insomnia (a PTSD symptom) and I've used a variety of sleeping pills in the past, all of which I eventually got used to. My psychiatrist took me off of the sleeping pills after I complained about becoming reliant and resistant on/to them and he recommended medicinal cannabis oil before bed, also giving me a contact for it, so effectively prescribing it (I hope this isn't breaking any rules, the stuff is given to me for a legitimate medical reason by a medical professional).
My average bed time was about 4am with a 6-6:30am wake up so I was living on a few hours sleep per day. Now I'm asleep by 11:30 almost every night which is close to the time I go to bed. My life has changed completely, much more energetic and focussed now thanks to the extra sleep.
The reason the stuff is illegal is because it would kill pharmaceutical companies profits as it can be used instead of almost 1/3rd of all of their drugs, many of which are highly addictive and bad for you and your wallet.
