Supplement SA Massive Muscle was created by Winston B
Hi.Im using Supplement SA's Massive Muscle for about a year now.But for the past month or so I get this running stomach.I even use water now instead of milk. But it still happens.Dr thinks I might become lactose intolerant, but can eat something like chocolate? I got myself some lacto-rase.But still have a stomach that is not that runny but loose. What else is there what I can use for bulking that isn't costing into the 1000's? Im struggling to get mass.
Thanks

FFS. Supplement SA Massive Muscle has 8.5g protein per 100g weight. Macro wise there are breakfast cereals with better ratios. Blend up oats and egg whites IMO. Or if you want, you can sub oats with "instant" mielie pap. Also, bananas pretty good mate.

Regarding dairy reaction, its differs from the typed of dairy product. Like most get a response from cow's milk, but yogurt, keifer and cheese are ok. Some can only use goat's milk products. So it's entirely possible that you have a problem from one product type only. Is it possible that the protein powder is doing it? Yes it's possible. But I doubt that is the case at the moment, I've never had trouble with protein powders. Unless of course you have narrowed it down to the stomach troubles only happening after that shake?

I'm lactose intolerant, my sister and my parents are as well. But we cant drink Raw milk, to be honest even the sight of it makes me want to vomit. But i can eat and drink anything with dairy in it. On the other hand my Sister and Mom can't. So it all depends on the person really. I will admit I sometimes feel extremely nauseous after a shake, but like once or twice a month only. But never effect my stomach, have you tried another product maybe?

Edited: Check your water in your area as well, ever since iv been back in SA...I CANNOT DRINK THE TAP WATER AT ALL, my stomach goes ape shit, excuse the pun. Its just something to also check out, because in the Eastern Cape we literally drinking shit.

Then there is a chance it's the supplement itself? Consider changing to a different product, maybe a raw whey and a carb source.

If worst comes to worst, remember protein powder is a convenience supplement. Otherwise if the are settled on protein powder in your shake/smoothie:
Casein (only a different part the same source food, but perhaps it's miller for you)
Egg protein powder (more expensive though)
Soy protein concentrate (not isolate, iso is xeno-estrogenic)
Pea protein powder (heard it tastes like molten donkey anus though)

Beef protein powder exists, but is ungodly expensive, and I haven't seen any nutritional controls that specify where it comes from. My guess a lot to it is from gelatine (hooves, horns, etc). Not talking smack about the companies that sell this typed of product, but technically it will still fit the definition.

Yes as Furk is saying be carefull of what your buying if you dont know the ingredients, I always check what it says on the back and the protein per 100g, funny enough I also saw the SA Massive Muscle very cheap but I put it back quickly because of the poor ingredients. Rather waste your money on real solid food then buying something the market is BS you about.

If you keep doing what you've been doing
You gonna keep getting what you've been getting...

Ok, I know this thread is a few days old but Winston B.... If you are struggling to bulk and put on weight then you are not eating correctly.

Stop wasting your money on those mass gainer shakes - most are just filled with wazy maize, dextrose, maltodextrin etc.
EAT PROPER FOOD!! Count your calories. You will pick up weight, trust me.

I use to be 48KG and I am now sitting at around 58 - 60KG. I use to be classified as a "hard gainer" until I learnt to eat and eat properly. It is really that easy once you know how to eat.
Oh, I managed to get there with a bit of creatine occasionally. No mass gainer, no protein powder or other weird supplements which cost a fortune. Take that money and go to a shop and buy some real food.

Oats, Wholewheat pasta, brown basmati rice, sweet potatoes, lean mince (90/10), steak, chicken, pork, tuna, some assorted veg which you enjoy, some fruit, heck even add some yoghurt in there (the plain stuff is great, add a bit of honey if you'd like).

Download My Fitness Pal on your phone and start counting your calories. Purchase a kitchen weight scale if you do not already own one. Do this for 3 months and I guarantee you, you will notice a difference. A positive difference. You will also feel soo much better once you start eating better food - stable mood, energy levels do not drop, you feel amazing!

For some Abs are made with lighting & angles... For others they are made in the kitchen.
