Background:
I come from a more bodybuilding background with quite a few mass gaining cycles behind me. Two years ago I started OCR racing and at the beginning of last year started taking it up seriously and competing in the Elite races. Eight weeks ago I picked up an injury where my Pes Bursa tendon started to tear where it attaches to my knee (Over training). After some PRP and Cortisone treatment, I finally got the green light this week from the Orthopaedic specialist to slowly start training again.
I am considering a kind of low test cycle to get things going again.
Stats:
Age: 32
Height: 85cm
Weight: 83kg
Fat: 10%
Training:
Mornings - High intensity weight training with a lot of Crossfitt and Calisthenics type of exercises. Also lot of focus on pulling exercises while keeping the balance.
Afternoons - All about Cardio and running. Averaging about 80-90km per week. Varies between Speed, strength, tempo and recovery runs.
Goal: Although I never stopped upper-body training, I would like to take it to a next level especially regarding grip and fore arm strength. Also the legs haven't done anything except A LOT OF STRETCHING the last couple of months. Want to increase leg strength with regards to specific running muscle training. Also cardio plays a big role and want to get back into the hang of things with a sub 38min 10km.
With the above in mind, I am considering the following cycle (While waiting for GW 501516 to make its long awaited appearance):
Don't want to go overboard as my weight to strength ratio is very important.
Week 1 to 5: Test Cyp @ 100mg per week divided in two shots.
Week 3 to 8: Start with HCG @ 250iu EOD (Thus while on cycle)
Week 6 to 9: Anavar @ 40mg (Also serve as bridge before PCT)
PCT: From week 9 (+- 30 days after last test shot)
Doctari's cycle No. 1 (Clomid & Kessar).
Also would like to incorporate ECA-Stack with regards to energy, weight and water retention control. Not sure whether to take it before my morning workout or my afternoon cardio session. Advice please!
Your input would be greatly appreciated!!!

Rather use prop for 8 weeks.
The var will be good for your goals, great choice

Thank you so much for your response. I considered it and kind of saw it as an 8 week cycle because of the half-life of cyp and since it is only an endurance cycle.
But after you mentioned it, and come to think of it, prop for 8 weeks might be a better option and can have a greater effect.
Appreciate!

Was wondering if I should include any Equipoise or Primo.
GW-501516 is a definite as soon as LP has it available.

Option 3 is slightly more expensive but you will not be disappointed with your race times and placings.

I doubt Oupa meant five weeks, I personally only started to really feel the strength gains from the test cyp after around 3 and a half to 4 weeks.
Also I heard that Test prop leads to less water retention when compared to Test Cyp - so perhaps another positive of test prop over cyp for something where you do not want to increase your weight too much (the shorter ester might be useful as well in this case as it kicks in sooner and is out your system sooner).
For some Abs are made with lighting & angles... For others they are made in the kitchen.

My reasoning behind the 5 weeks: It takes about 3 weeks for the Cyp to start having a real affect and because of the same reason, it has a long half-life and would be affective long after the last shot. Taking into consideration that I'am not after bulking and more after all-round strength and fitness. It takes me about 6-7 weeks to reach the level of fitness where I can seriously start competing.
But yes, this is the exact reason why I am asking here for input and advice, as I have never done a cycle with cardio and fitness as the goals.
I am however more than willing to extend the cycle to 8 weeks as proposed.
The idea of Test Prop also makes sense for the reasons PsyClown explained. I however have easy access to Cyp and think for this cycle I will stick to it, but extend the cycle as proposed to 8 weeks.
I am also going to change the cycle to one of the options as proposed by Oupa. I already have Primobolan on hand, so I think I might go with option2.
Thanks for all the input and advice, appreciate it a lot! A really informative forum with a lot of knowledge going around!!

The reason I initially picked Test Cyp over Prop, was because of the more pump that one gets from the prop. When running a lot, one tries to avoid to much of a pump on the lower legs. This is something I learned the hard way. A while back I tried using Winny to up my cardio and only ended up with shin splints which led to a fracture of my one shinbone because of the pump created by the repeated bang of the legs on the ground.
Don't know if Test Prop will have the same effect. Maybe for that same reason Oupa propose Test Cyp instead of the Prop.
I can tell you one thing, Winny is a NO GO for running!!
Thanks gents, appreciate!!

My mistake I didn't add the amount of weeks but 10 week minimum on my recommended endurance cycles.
Reason why I did not recommend prop is -
Say for instance you have a "bad" injection a few days before the race and you enter a race with PIP(Post Injection Pain), you will kak yourself if you give that pin site a proper bump on a obstacle.
I am speaking from experience here, your race will not continue
