Coming off Letro was created by phoenixcpt
Hi all
So I recently came off a cylce of test prop and mast. It was my first cycle and I didnt notice any gyno at all, just sensitive nips which are a precursor. I only started using AI's letro and armidex after my cycle (during pct)and it took the sensitivity away completely. My question is how do I come off of letro without rebounding? Do I need to be concered about this at all or does it only apply to guys who could feel a lump and have definite gyno? I've read that Letro is strong and one should never stop abruptly.
My PCT as follows:
100mg clomid for 10 days
25mg Nolvadex every day from day 11 for 25-30 days
500iu HCG (10iu shots) every second day from day 11 until finished (I finished about a week and a half ago)
Letro drops (10) every day
Arimidex (EOD)
I want to taper down as follows:
Day 1: 8 drops
Day 2: 7 drops
Day 3: 6 drops
Day 4: 5 drops
Day 5: 5 drops
Day 6: 5 drops
Do I take Nolva and Arimidex for a week after the Letro to curb the rebound?

Arimidex will cause the same rebound and fight over the receptor site for PCT. I would use aromasin and then your can come off the letro pretty quick without rebound.. Just run the Aromasin for 2 weeks before you stop completely with the Letro

Also letro has a long half life so trying to tapper down a drop by day will not work at all.. drop it by half an run it for a week.. then by half again for another week then stop (including aromasin) during this time

I've read that aromasin is better than nolva because it permanently deactivates the enzyme so you dont end up with estrogen rebound. Letro binds for a limited time only and then the body metabolises it.
Thing is, I have some extra Nolva. This keeps breast tissue receptos occupied so that the incoming estrogen will not flare up gyno right? Does this mean I could potentially use Nolva for two weeks after I've stopped letro instead of Aromasin?
Thanks for the advice! Really appreciate it!

Yes that's true from an AI viewpoint but that is not the reason we use Nolvadex during PCT.
