Help me get my groove back was created by MCJ
Hey guys

The past two weeks I have kinda lost my "mojo" or drive for working out. I don't know why. Felt a little off and had a sore stomach for two days but that cleared up (this is about two weeks ago). I took a few days off from gym and then those few days turned into another couple of days and so I ended up "resting" for a week and a half. Did chest on Saturday and shoulders monday but both took a lot of effort. Supposed to have done arms today but just don't feel like it. So much so that I don't even feel I have the energy. Usually all I think about is gym from the moment I wake till gym time. But lately the closer gym time comes the less I look forward to it.

My goals haven't changed at all nor has my passion. And this is what's worrying me. I've made great progress on the Keto, yohimbine, clen and winny stack and eager to get more results! But I'm just flat. I'm taking multi vits, extra vit C (3000mg) extra vit B and I have my carb up meal. I don't feel sick nor do I have any infections etc that I know of. Could already feel myself struggling with my chest workout due to the lack of exercise. Water intake is also high.

Any similar experience? Advice? Tips?

I had sort of a similar experience. I ended changing gym - needed a new environment, a fresh start

I think we all experiecr that at some stage bro, for the long term motivation probs i agree with DJ, harden up force yourself to go work out and soon youll fing your mojo. as for short term motivation problems i never have a planned resting day, for one reason only....on some days that its time to rest i feel like i can conquer the world...and so i just go to gym anyway. and some days i have to go work out and feel totaly weak so then i just take that day to rest. Youll have it back sooner than you know

the only place were 'success' comes before 'work' is in the dictionary

disagree with most of you.. You can't 'force' yourself back into it.. I have learned this from personal experience, I took nearly 3 months off gym a short while ago and every time in those 3 months I tried to 'force' myself back I burnt out fast.. Until I just woke up one day and was amped for gym.. then again, may just be me..

My opinion? Leave it for a bit. No use in burning yourself out.. When you want to train you will start again..

To you it may look like I just did a push-up... But in fact, I just bench-pressed the world.

I think it should help being a member at more than 1 gym. a Change in scenery sometimes help. The issue is however mental and only you can sort that out. Easy to say tuffen the fuck up but maybe 1st identify why you are loosing interest

Have you considered getting a training partner?
It may help to have someone to push you, and many people find gymming with a mate makes it less of a lonely chore and more of a 'social / fun' sport

I still feel you need to suck it up and just do it....nobody likes to work yet you must.same with your training if you want to achieve something you need to train and be consistant.it might be tough but that too shall pass.

Lol thanks guys. But most of u are totally misunderstanding me. Its not that I don't want to work out or don't want results. If u read my first post properly u will see that. Its mainly about lack of energy and feeling tired. That's why I included what vits etc I'm taking.

Anyway forced myself to do bi/tri supersets today and it really sucked till I got going. Went rather well. Finding it difficult training after work lately due to energy levels so will see what tomorrow brings.

hi mcj. are you still on keto.
maybe you need more carb-up time.

If working on body and character doesnt cost you something its woth noting. If criticism is all that proceed out of your mouth then know that is how you feel about yourself and depicts the health of your soul.

hi mcj. ill use myself as an example.
if your tiredness is not diet related its phyc related.

sometimes in life i get these dips of emotions and i really feel bad about myself. in these dip i tend to get depressed and also very tired. i have learnt over the years that this is when i need to spend time with more possitif people that understand me and can just give that bump of confidence to get me going again. so maybe just try and surround you with people that support you in your goals. not haveing someone like that can be somewhat depressing and losing hope and confidence is easy. some people need shoptalk others need to be spoken to with a firm hand and some guys just need a kakout session and they are all good again.

i know this site is here to motivate you and all here means well but sometime just the smallest thing or kak comment can through you off the path of your goals. so maybe just go speak to someone.

I'm not the biggest preworkout drink fan, but why dont you get one for the 'phase' your going through?

Not sure what time you train, but start sipping it a bit earlier than prescribed. It should get rid of the lack of energy and tired feeling?? By the time your in the gym it should be working it's wonders..

You know I have been feeling like that this whole week, the yesterday this old guy walks up to me in the gym out of nowhere and says This is your calling, I have been watching you for a while now, whether your training partner comes or not you are here giving it all. This is where you find peace, push on and be consistent my man and you will make it. This guy was like heaven sent I said you have no idea how much that means and it was leg day. So boet, you are doing what you live push on and through in due course you will reps the reward of hard work and consistency, I say push though. Arnold said the reason he grew big was that he trained the days he did not feel like training. There is a time to rest, and a time to work this is the time to work.

WOW!!! That's just awesome motivation..

My biggest downer is previous photos!!! I HATE A FREAKIN PHOTO
SO I had to rearrenge the PC at home, stumbled upon some really fat photos, Bier Pens @ 34% fat. Got some inspiration there, but then stumbled on some October '11 photos... Those made me think, I havn't improved one bit..

The missus chirped me:"O stop winging like a 'Old Tannie with a nat Panty, you cant even compare the old you VS new you". That made me feel better...

Hey guys.

Thank u all very much for all the replies. Really appreciate it.

Fortunately I found the problem and that was too much yohimbine. Dropped dosage to 10mg/day upon waking and have no more issues. No lethargy and workouts are good again. Due to using the FOF I underestimated the the potency of the LP Yohimbine. :)
