Hey guys, I'll be taking my missus for a two week holiday to Cape Town over Dec/Jan. She's agreed to let me hit a couple of gym sessions if i take her to all the cliche' spots - table mountain; ratanga junction etc.. oh - and if i can find a gym...

Anyway, ill be staying in an apartment in Long Str, near the V&A. If any of you are around that time, maybe we can hook up?

Lemme know if you guys are cool.

Hey Rowan do you know when you will be here for definite as I will be gone Christmas and New Year but will definitely be back around the 2nd or 3rd. If you are still here then, we can hook for a session no probs.

lol at the moment im so stressed out i look at food and get full, but iv managed to somewhat forcefeed my self

I might be hitting Camps Bay in Dec. I'll let you guys know and we can maybe all hit a session together. Koe we can finally have a session, even if it is a fair distance from home.

Close on 5000cal per day, mostly whole food, so I have really learnt to force feed. :sick:

Don't worry I'm on about 2700cals but soon that's gonna go through the roof I rekon, just waiting to see what it's going to be, with DJ's help. In the beginning the toughest meal to get down was breakfast but now 10-15min before I'm meant to eat, I get really hungry. So your body adapts but yeah you do have to force feed in the beginning.

@Koe and Rowan and Stu, would love to hit a session with you gents, keep us posted on when you're here maybe EVO will let us use his facilities in Claremont when it's open :whistle:

If i was going to be here at that time then it would've worked out, but going back to the UK for Christmas and Iceland for New Year - so unfortunately probably won't happen.

Anyone gonna be in the greenpoint area? im gonna be there from 28th dec to 10th jan and would be keen to have a training partner for that time even if you keen for only a session or 2. Ill be training in the small gym in the Cape quarter most probably!

You guys should come round Stellenbosch too, the varsity gym here is one of the best gyms I've trained at (got a mixture of the old and new school vibes going on). Then again, bad experience with Planet Fitness in Hennopspark, Centurion and Virgin Active in the Rooihuiskraal area (back when I lived in Pretoria) might have contributed to that!

yoh bru always wanted to train there, got accepted to stellies and UCT and ended up going to UCT.. But that stellies gym is the main reason I would go there haha

I can only do pm and leave on the 30th but if you want I am in constantia, not far from Kenilworth. Think the VA here is like R50 a once off but I am 99% sure they will let you in free at least a few times..
