Steroids and Heart problems was created by Pumped
Hey guys i would just like to get some feedback from you guys about any probs you have experienced, or you know of others that have had experienced heart problems ? Because my grandfather has had bad heart problems and i know that sometimes these heart problems that run in the family are more likely to cause heart problems with AAS use.

You guys might think I'm crazy, but i know how to achieve greatness.

Think Arnie may have had a by-pass, but other than him haven't heard too many stories about heart complications with AAS use

Sorry guys Apparently it is true, cause its happened to certain people already, so I’m not taking any chances !!

I have had a heart attack and a best friend of mine too from steroids, he is more convinced his is due to hGH. Steroids 100% enlarges your heart.

Hope all is well now, was the heartache due to the heart being enlarged or due to raised cholesterol levels or both?

Left side of my heart enlarged, was due to high bp, the heart attack that is. Thats why its important to do a full physical before and after a cycle and too monitor yourself during a cycle. And like vega, when your body tells you enough then listen and run the cycle short.

Thats heavy man, do you still run d-bol/a-bombs with your cylces? They usually raise bp levels

If you feel like dying on cycle then you know, odd dull pains in my stomach and liver region was where I called it. I also felt run down and tired, I just think my body was saturated and was sending out signals to stop before the kak hits the fan.

I feel like this towards the last few weeks of my cycle but i am only using 500mg's per week of deca and 750mg's per week of Test Cyp. I found since i used letro and proviron for the last 4 weeks of my cycle it helps a lot with PCT recovery and reduces all the estrogen completely.

I'm totally convinced on the Proviron + Letro combo while on cycle and then slowly tapering the Letro into PCT.

And this feeling like death thing also leads me to believe that six week cycles are going to be my future.

vega5 did u run letro the whole time on the cycle? if so that could be the reason u felt like death, should use a-dex for longer periods of time, less harsh on the immune system and blood lipids...

Thats what i did on my last cycle and it fucked me up by week 12 i was feeling like death and so weak.My body was hammered.I was running 0.2mg's EOD of Letro for the entire cycle and i used it from week 3-12 and my body started to feel warm down and tired and lazy .I now use just 0.2mg's per day of letro EOD for 1 week on and 3 weeks off.I find this works pretty well to prevent gyno and cut the water.I've been following this protocol for this cycle and so far I'm still feeling good at 8 weeks.

dude,0.1mg 3 times a week will kill those sides... u can even do 0.1mg letro on the days that you jab...i still far prefer a-dex for on cycle estrogen control over letrozole.

I feel that article on www.steroid.com/side.php is false and 1 sided.

Things like:

Increased aggressiveness is often claimed to occur with anabolic steroid use. Although it´s highly rare (less than 5%), significant psychiatric symptoms have been found in some steroid users, including aggression and increased violence, mania, and even psychosis. However, it must be noted that in the studies done without a control group, it can safely be assumed that naturally aggressive people simply just be more inclined to use steroids (type-A personalities, if you will). This would probably have an effect on possibly skewing the results. Certainly, if someone takes the risk to use steroids to improve their performance in a sport or their physique, they have certain aggressive traits. Can steroids enhance them? Possibly. Can steroids be to blame for anti-social, psychotic, "roid-rage" type behavior? Probably not. The evidence just isn´t there to support that.

Now what is wrong about that statement.. Firstly they are stating 'it can safely be assumed' .. Assumption is the mother of all fuckups, right there they just side stepped you. Then "Certainly, if someone takes the risk to use steroids to improve their performance in a sport or their physique, they have certain aggressive traits". This is so far from the truth, firstly I know some competitive athletes and the truth of the matter is, (not assumptions) majority of world class athletes are using some performance enhancing drug. Now what does that do to the other athletes who want to compete clean ? Simply it's not possible, now is a time to retire from your sport or be forced to take something.

Again:

Can steroids be to blame for anti-social, psychotic, "roid-rage" type behavior? Probably not. The evidence just isn´t there to support that.

Now what do they use, 'probably not' / 'The evidence just isn't there to support that'.

I'm going to stop there. As sometimes I cringe when I read stuff from that site and how everyone takes what is said to be 'law'. The fact is, it's all speculation and using clever words to hide the truth.

I know steroids cause severe side effects, take spike for instance, he is a healthy young man, what happened to him? His blood pressure went through the roof when he touched dianbols, carry on like that / uncontrolled and you going to land up with permanent damage. Kidney cells can not be re-created! You can only preserve what you currently have, when you get to the point that you have chronic renal condition there is nothing you can do for it besides going on dialysis. Taking other drugs to prevent side effects from steroids like a SERM or an AI has their own list of side effects. Just because you feel you have suppressed you estrogen you not going to land up with high cholesterol. Just because you stop male pattern baldness by using finpecia you not going to land up infertile or with gynecomastia.

Honestly I could write for hours about the 'true' side effects of steroids. Any site that wants to hide this has ulterior motives.

So the fact of the matter is, be careful. Nobody says stop using steroids, however don't use them thinking they safe. Because there is yet to be 1 drug I have found that doesn't have known side effects.

Monitor your health, take action when something is out of the ordinary and don't leave things at bay hoping they will go away on their own.

The reason we suggest 1 compound when starting out is simply to see how your body reacts to any paticulare drug. You get the rare occasions that when you take a drug your body simply rejects it and you land up with some diverse side effects. High and complex stacks are called 'advanced cycles' simply because that is exactly what they are. They are for the user that has taken ABC and stacked that with XYZ. They know how their body reacts, so stacking different compounds is designed to achieve a specific result keeping in mind what their goal is.

If anyone wants to take 1 thing out of what I said here it is play it safe! I have first hand suffered severe side effects due to the 'abuse of steroids'. Anyone can use google and find answers to justify their actions. Regardless if you trying to find answers to condone or explode a topic.

Bump what pump is saying. It comes down to corect and moderate use. If you use high dose steroids for long periods you are going to do some damage. I'm convinced the true sides come from long term use without breaks.
I believe the key is to get in get the growth and get out before the real damage starts happening. Then try and maintain the growth.

Far easier said than done and you have to accept there is going to be some sort of down time at the end of the cycle and you aren't going to feel like you did a few weeks earlier-if you can't handle it steroids aren't for you.

And on the topic, one of the most overlooked and dangerous aspects of long term use is blood coagulation. I know of three guys on other boards that have died or had heart attacks all from the same method-thrombosis in the lower leg that travels through.
The one guy was 33 who died and had been on a cycle for well over a year. All the others had also been on long term cycles-not at outrageous doses-but had been cruising between cycles on 400mg or 500mg week of test with a bit of this that added here and there.

The one guy I was chatting who had a heart attack had been diligently going for blood tests with all functions fine and then got hit out of no where with thrombosis followed by a heart attack. Now his heart has been weakened and is in constant danger of another heart attack.

Be safe and take breaks between cycles-and don't cruise

I know of 2 people who were on juice and broke their ankle playing rugby and got a clot in their leg from steroid use about a week after the brake. It seems to me like the only problem with steroids really is the enlargement of the heart and blood-lipid problems associated with steroid use.

The main things are cholesterol, kidney function and liver function and keep tabs on blood pressure and heart during and after cycle.

The blood coagulation coefficient has to be tested for specifically-but IMO-and only MO, not medical-this should become a concern with long term use when you're hitting cycles of 20+ weeks.
There's no hard and fast rules and everyone is different, but generally kidney, liver and cholesterol are what you broadly want to keep an eye on.

If you have sticky blood you should know that. I had mine tested. I walked into the Doc's office and told him what i am up to - he systematically went through all the risk factors and started ticking them off. Now i pop in every couple of months for the vitals.

I dont have sticky blood, but i still dring a heart-asprin daily while on cycle.

I don't think that Liver function should be regularly checked up on if you're avoiding liver toxic substances and taking some milk thistle. But hell yea kidney and cholesterol should be regularly checked up on.

Just thought i'd chime in here, been speaking to conan recently and he has been chatting to Doctari(i know this has been brought up by other forum members before but i cant remember who i should be crediting with the info so please accept my apologies),Milk thistle hinders your gains on cycle as it blocks androgen receptors aswell as doing fuck all for protecting your liver from steroid use,its fine for protecting your liver if you are an average joe who has a couple drinks but nothing like we are hoping for,if u have liver problems use legalon!
